One eye test matchine working....how is it that in this day and age, the government cannot up its game and make this process more efficient ???

I see there are no recent reviews for this department. I last went there many years ago and was worried it was going to be a terrible experience (time and process related). I'm not sure if I just hit a quiet time but there was no real queue (Thurs at 2pm). There's now a ticketing system and the place was clean with fairly new benches. I was helped within 10mins and the teller was very helpful and engaging. Not just him but all the tellers were friendly and made an effort which was noticeable for people next to me. (Super impressed by that!).

Waited 10 mins to get my forms and 20 mins to get my eyes tested for my license renewal. Staff were friendly even at the end of the day. All in all, a 45 min expedition from parking to driving off. I always go there for my license renewals and I’ve never had issues. So this was not a once off scenario.

Got there at 8am to renew car license disk, half hour later done, very efficient and helpful staff

If I could give zero stars I would. The people who work here move slower than I thought humanly possible. Bonus, they are completely useless as well.

There was no staff at the cashiers. One cashier open. The line was out of the door. No help whatsoever. Please remove the sign that says to be recognized as one of the leading traffic services in the world". When appraching security to ask why there are no staff

It was very cold, 7 degrees C this morning. My son and I have been queuing since 5:55 am. Some people came before 5am to avoid the long queue. People were stamping their feet and rubbing their hands together to ward off the cold.The security staff was very friendly and helpful. I was happy when an officer offered me to stand right in front of the queue because I am on medical treatment. We were out by 8:15 am. I did not get the officer's name but thank you, kind Sir, and thumbs up to Plumstead Traffic Department.
