The people on the checkouts are never efficient; they have to be the slowest operators - very relaxed ! - of tils in any supermarket in Cape Town. One tries finding a queue that is moving faster, but then the teller there starts talking to a customer - & stops processing; then someone asks about a price & it takes forever to get someone who can reverse this or to WALK into the store to get something weighed or the article that was actually on special. Then they start the packing & chatting up the guy with the vest, body & tattoos . . . It is very frustrating & management needs a change if they cannot make the store run like a supermarket.Guys, this is fine for a 1950's green-grocer, but not for a supermarket outlet.Maybe send the tellers on training - just to visit other - even Sprite - stores ?Management might even find that they will not push away so much business to the competition if they run in a friendly, but efficiently, manner.I rather drive to Pick 'n Pay in Gabriel Rd than walk 200m to the Victoria Rd Shoprite.Higher management really needs to look at this store that requires some imagination & upgrading.

Shoprite Klerksdorp Terminus
The place has a high production, but the queue sometimes becomes so long, it depends on the day of the month. Other than that, they do provide a good service.

Shoprite Kaalfontein
Horrible service! The staff is so unwelcoming , bad attitude. Their service really bad! That shoprite (Kaalfontein corner) should just either shut down or have someone to train them. Today is even worse. Waited on a queue for the entire 30 minutes to buy a tickets. There’s no long queues if ask. Do a mistery/surprise store visits someday if you don’t believe me. NEVER WILL I EVER SET MY FOOT THERE AND WILL TELL EVERYONE WHO CARES TO LISTEN ABOUT THIS DEMONIC SERVICE. Think that’s enough? Not even! The bad attitude you get for cash back, you’d swear it is deducted from their wages!

The supermarket was poorly stocked, i couldnt even find a 2litre coke or water, the fridges were empty. Mayb bcoz it was month-end, again that is not acceptable.
