Waxys is the perfect place to meet up with friends or enjoy a cozy dinner. They have great specials like their burger night combo on a Wednesday and After-Graft draught. The atmosphere is always vibey and the staff are wonderful. Our cocktails were very interesting and tasty. We loved the island fishbowl and the berry Collins.

Well this was definitely the place to be today. From the warm welcome at the door to our fantastic waitress, Kris, who couldn't do enough to keep us happy to the brilliant family band Kieth and Kin who kept us dancing in our seats. Food was delicious too. Prices so reasonable. A must visit.

It's a cool watering hole, the food is pretty good, like it's pub fare not really like a culllinary experience, defs a vibe but the prices are a bit high.

Fantastic little place, well priced, good meal portions. I had a good time, friendly staff fast and reliable service. The food was good as well as the drinks. Everyone was extra helpful and handy. Went out of their way to help and support me and those around me. Highly recommend anyone who hasn't been to go. Very enjoyable and I really hope you can have the same experience I had. Good fun and good laughs. Enjoy your day to whoever is reading this!

Terrible. This is the third time I have been to Waxy's Hillcrest, and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. My partner and I arrived at 18h30 on Sunday evening 21 May 2023.We were seated and given menus, and were promptly told that we had to quickly order as the kitchen were waiting to close at 7.The waitron seemed off, as if we were an inconvenience to him.When the food arrived, it was mediocre. My chicken and prawn steaming pot" was cold. And our waitron had disappeared.After our mains

Waxys is such a vibe. I literally go there just for the vibe. The service is great. The foods is yummy. I love the recent addition to the starter menu (Prawn Cocktails) since I only eat seafood and Vegetarian meals. Otherwise I enjoy their cous cous salad.

GREAT food!!! Amazing Atmosphere, good music,lots of fun! The best service, Sam served us and he is on top of his game. We have had him as our waiter a couple times ,I would recommend requesting one of his tables!
