No help from this department

I phoned on numerous occasions to see if I have outstanding fines, but to no avail do they pick up the phone. I will not follow up again.

Called the Traffic department to make an appointment for my 79 year old mom who suffers from severe arthritis and cannot stand for long. I was told she need not make an appointment as Wednesdays are reserved for pensioners. Expecting pensioners to receive PREFERENTIAL treatment .. and to not have to queue for such a long time .. she went this morning and had to queue for 6 hours! She is absolutely shattered by the experience. It is a disgrace and a shame that an elderly person, trying to uphold the law, should be treated like this. Shame on you PE traffic department. You can't sink any lower!!.

Their service in comparison to other branches is amazing! The staff members are kind and show utmost patience when assisting and/or attending to queries. May this service remain and may they continue flourishing.

Very friendly and helpful information desk that assisted me with my license renewal. I also had to pay a traffic fine, for which I also reveived prompt service.

useless service is not the word utterly pathetic but at the end of the month when there pay is not correct they are quick to complain but cant work properly

The staff are really helpful, I always try and avoid government institutions as far and wide as possible. but i went there on Friday to collect my PDP and renew vehicle license. the whole process was just 10 minutes max.

The traffic department is not only the offices. The traffic officers working the streets don't have any way of getting acknowledged. My wife had a bad experience with a drunken driver bumping into her car. Traffic officers were quick, efficient and considerate. They caught the runaway perpetrator and were sorting out multiple accidents all at the same time. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the traffic department is not controlling the taxis who are causing havoc with their blatant disregards for traffic rules and other drivers.

It was time to renew my driver's license. I made my eye test appointment on the Stellenbosch municipality app. Arrived on the day at the appointed time, completed my form and waited in the eye test facility room. By the time all was done and paid for, only 40 minutes had passed. I am so impressed. Everyone was very friendly, efficient and helpful. The bathroom was also spotless!
