Great Sunday lunch. Better than home cooked! Roast Lamb, Beef and Gammon with roast potatoes, Yorkshire Pud and mixed veg. Apple crumble for desert! Wow, what a meal. Cosy atmosphere, good service and friendly chef /owner. Great value too!

Service is attentive and friendly, with the owner there to welcome both new and old customers alike.

The best British South African establishment I have ever been to in Africa. The food is prepared with the correct ingredients, that is lacking in other establishments. The beers are the all the real thing. The whiskey are great and most of all,the place welcomes all.

Have visited here multiple times with my family and have never been disappointed.Marion (Owner) is always incredibly friendly and welcoming and makes some absolutely delicious food too. All of the food from the regular" menu is great and I personally love the Philly Cheese Steak

The bar has a cozy feel and the new owners have changed the restaurant area into a wine lounge.There are a few limited payout slot machines for entertainment, and they show all the live sporting events.

Food, drinks and ambience were beyond reproach. You taste the love in the food. It's homely yummy goodness. A little cliche maybe but so true. Service was swift, professional and had a personal flair. Any place that has a book display is already a winner in my opinion. When the owner allows a patron to borrow a book then it's a double-WOW for me! Thank you Marion and waiters for making our visit a memorable experience. Love it...love it! We'll be back!

Excellent meal, excellent service, generous portions. We had the Sunday roast with 3 roast meats, veg, roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding with gravy, mint sauce etcHighly recommended.
