Judy and her team are fantastic whatever she does is for the birds and animals. It is her passion. But does need help and assistanceJudy is the best in the business. I take my hat off to her for everything she had for her business the most importance part of her is her kindness and knowledlge of all the animals.

Featherbed Private Nature Reserve
Oh wow, this is a must do experience for anyone visiting South Africa and especially the garden route. It has a ferry ride with entertaining guides talking about the history of the area. Access on and off the boat is easy. Then a great 4x4 truck ride up the mountain, sit on the left side for best views. After that you can return with the truck or hike back to the restaurant down the hill. It's tough but I managed and I have dodgy knees and am not fit, just take it slow. The views and flora are incredible. After all the excersize, you have a delicious buffet lunch, beers and wine are available for your account. Amazing day out.

Stony Point Penguin Colony Entrance
A fun and educational place to visit. There is something so cute about penguins waddling around. Lots of information placards about the penguins, other animals and the whaling station that was there.

Cobham Nature Reserve
A lovely place to go for a hike. Trails are in good condition. Just very sad that the dirt road to get there is in such a bad way - lots of dongas, ditches and potholes. Would never go there in a car with little clearance. It’s R45 pp, which is reasonable. Would go back when I’m next in the area. Views on the hike are very beautiful

World of Birds Wildlife Sanctuary & Monkey Park
While I was visiting the mother city, a friend of mine suggested we check out the place as he knows I love animals, so we walked around seeing different types of bird species, and I was so intrigued when I saw a black ravens as I only saw them in movies but I got to see it.The place is so big and nice, but I didn't get to enjoy it fully because while I was checking out the monkeys, the weather decided to start raining, and then I ended the trip.I would recommend the sanctuary to people who share the same love as me to nature and animals.

OPM Prozesky Bird Sanctuary
Sadly , the part next to thr sewerage works is very unkempt and run down. Lovely bird sigtings though. The roads are very bumpy and washed out in many places making it almost impassable for normal cars. Some of the hides are badly tusted away and dangerous to enter.Apart from the rotten infrastructure, it's still scenic and many interesting water fowl can be seen.

Will definitely be helping this caring organisations for animals in need, we had 5 homeless little ones, Me and my wife tried to find answers to help these little one's as we didnt know how to care for such little fragile creatures an such sometimes one will do more harm then good. We kept them warm and safe then I was forwarded to SAWRC and we are very happy we were. Thank you to Judy and Caroline for such great help, It made us feel assured we brought the little one's to right place. Thank you
