My friend took his dad for a maintainance because he has never supported him and he is now at varsity and the father is doing nothing, they went to kopanong court and the magistrate said his dad is not responsible for supporting him I guess that was because of NSFAS and he told magistrate that if the father isn't entitled to support him and can't afford the money he is requesting then he can keep his money the case was closed but the guy never gave up and took him to another court, only to find out that the guy doesn't qualify for NSFAS and his dad earns way more than the fact he can't support him he then cancelled NSFAS because it would be seen as a fraud now the dad is paying fir everything including university fees, food accommodation etc... The procedures made by this court are not complete because they never even bothered to ask for a pay slip...

Very bad service and rude personal at regional civil/divorces, was there 07:30 until 11am staff call ppl they knw into front and skip us, stay away frm this place

Don't know why any person would want to rate this place more than 1 star. Who ever is in charge of this place must replace the security. Please tell them that the court does not belong to them and that they can change their attitudes.

Words can never describe the trauma I am feeling after visiting this place!Everytime I go that place I'm always scared of the harassment I will face from security, but today was worse, the security physically & verbally harrased me. I've reported to the court manager & pray he really takes action as he promised me

I had an enquiry, as my Father passed away. I was directed to Room 60. From entering point every one I have asked for directions were very friendly with myself and my Daughter. We got to Room 60, as we were waiting for the Lady to finish helping a client, we were not even 5min waiting for her. We greeted her, and I asked her if my Daughter could join. Agreed this Lady was so friendly and compassionate with my story. She guided me with unsure questions giving me all the correct information moving forward. Thank you Honorable, much respect.If only everyone could be like her, the world will be a better place.

As a woman applying for an urgent protection order I feel that i might as well fight my own battle. I received a court date for almost a month later....what part of urgent don't they understand.I went back to the courthouse a day after applying for the protection order because I was still being threatened and harrassed to be told that it's lunchtime and to wait there for the hour or come back. WHAT?!?!?!In tears I approached one of the workers that I recognized from the domestic violence section and he said that they have some function on and he doesn't think that my case worker would assist me at that time.AND EVERYONE SCREAMS GENDER BASED VIOLENCE " etc.....it means nothing to these people whom I have asked for urgent protection.Over and above my grievance above....the sheer LACK of professionalism is astounding with staff shouting (conversing) to each other down the passages or between offices.It's actually laughable......Oh dear South Africa

Pathetic service. Zero telephonic response, and IF you manage to get a hold of someone, that's a very very BIG if, they put the phone down.
