Loch Vaal Cottage 2

The hosts were very inviting and friendly. The cottage was equipped with everything we needed, and most importantly, the fishing was excellent!

We had such an amazing experience. The owners of the property were so friendly and accommodating. They gave my son such an amazing time. We will definetly be going back.

A lovely quiet place to take the family, the owners are very nice and friendly. Fishy is really great and the entertainment area is really amazing, everything you might need. And relaxing to boot!

We had a lovely stay at Loch Vaal Cottage. Very peaceful and pretty.Loved the downstairs area to socialize and then the upstairs area to go have a snooze without been disturb.Hosts, Malcolm and Claudia thank you for your hospitality and the sunset barge trip was very special.A definite stay for us again with our fishing rods and more time.

We visited Loch Vaal Cottage 2 as a group and each and everyone enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Everyone is helpful and the hospitality was great. Everything you need is in the cottage and the entertainment area is very well equipped. We will definitely make this one of our places to visit again.

WE had a really relaxing time that we needed. It was tranquil, peaceful and serene. Facilities are very good, place is clean . A REAL HOME AWAY FROM HOME. A definite must do. The accommodation is great, comfortable and a home away from home. All amenities are there. Great place to launch a boat. Wonderful hosts. Love it there.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the host was amazing. The kitchen /entertainment area is spacious and well equipped to accommodate quite a big group. Grandpa Graham and family made us feel as part of the family. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this self-catering chalet to everybody. Michèle was extremely accommodating and allowed us to change our bookings without any costs. All facilities are private and does not have to be shared during your stay. The waterfront area is massive and makes fishing easy, area is well lit up at night. River front well equipped with a huge umbrella, chairs, fire pit and a braai. Fishing was good and caught quite a few. Sunset was beautiful. The chalet is well equipped with solar lights, gas stove and a braai in the event of load shedding. With this being just an hour’s drive from Joburg I most certainly will visit again and encourage you to take a break and enjoy the tranquillity and hospitality of Loch Vaal Cottage 2.
