Had a great rock climbing introduction course with David! He explained safety rules, he made me try different devices and presented their prons & cons. David even let me do both top roping and lead climbing which was great! David is professional, puts priority first and is also fun. We will come back & stay in your BnB next time.Take careHugo

I have done a few courses with Gavin and plan to do a few more. Gavin is an amazing teacher with a wide knowledge of the outdoors. I look forward to the next course or trip I attend.

We went on an incredible adventure with Gavin to the Drakensburg mountains. We climbed Beacon Buttress, Tugela Falls and Sentinel Peak and slept in a cave on the mountain. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience, the views and scenery, as well as the challenge and fulfillment of the hiking and climbing. Most of all we really appreciated the guidance of Gavin and Peak High, and the help in this trip and we could not and would not have had the same trip without him. All that he did for us and the expertise and knowledge he brought with him was priceless! Looking forward to possibly doing another trip!

I had a great experience with Dave. It was a last minute call but he was able to make time. We climed at Legoland and as a beginner he was patient and gave clear instructions on how and what to do. We both climed 3 routes for several hours. Highly recommended, it was great fun! Thanks again!

I had a dream to come from New Zealand to South Africa to go on a wild climbing trip. I contacted Gavin and we began to craft my dream. He wassuper knowledgeable and informative about what he thought would suit me best to get the most out of the trip. We met up and he was very approachable and professional which put me at ease straight away knowing that this was going to be a relaxed fun trip. He looked after everything and all I had to do was focus on my climbing. More importantly, he dallied in really quickly and picked out perfect climbs that suited me so I could get the most out of my climbing time. Gavin is the perfect host and will cook you a classic brayy at dinner time. Sitting around the fire at night tucking into his tasty meals ,watching the stars and surrounded by good quality conversation was the perfect end to an amazing days climbing.Gavin's skills will put you at ease while climbing and his wealth of historical knowledge of South Africa is limitless, so make sure you pick his brains. My time with Gavin was the highlight of our 5 weeks spent in SA and i will definitely be looking him up again when I make it back.

I can highly recommend Gavin's multi-pitch sport climbing course. He is a consummate professional with a relaxed, confidence inspiring manner borne of many years of experience across of facets of climbing and hiking.

We were climbing with Dave and it was totally impressive. We slowly increased the difficulty of our routes and it was an absolutely great experience. Dave gave me a lot of courage and great support. Had a full day of sport climbing in Montagu with our guide Dave. The place is beautiful and offers a great variety of routes, both for beginners and experienced, which Dave helped us to pick out. He teached us how to belay and climb in a safe way, while also pushing us to gain confidence in practice. All in an experienced, friendly and pedagocigal way. Highly recommend going on this climbing tour! :)
