The staff were very helpfull and friendly. Had a warm welcome and was assisted with problems reported in a timely fashion. Now the problem was the unit we stayed in was not properly cleaned. We found old marshmallows under the one couch, a pot with water left in it inside the cupboard, the bed was littered with dead ants, cobwebs along the wall, the trash can was full, exposed nails on the single couches, spiders running around, the jungle gym area for the children was dirty and looked like it hasn't been cleaned in some time, the swimming pool had leaves and grass inside, the blinds needs to be replaced as some of them only closes part way, the fridge and microwave was not working but that was sorted out on the second day we were there. Overall the place is nice but not clean and tidy which made it a bit miserable.

Nice venue with pleasant views and friendly service. Reasonable selection and quality of food. There is a little play area with a trampoline and swings etc. for children to enjoy. A swimming pool is available for residential guests to the resort.

Beautiful, tranquil farm/ estate where you are welcomed by geese walking and plonking into one of several dams. There are 2 restaurants and we had a splendid breakfast overlooking the garden and dam. Service was outstanding and the food on par. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed it very much but didn’t feel comfortable letting the kids swim or play at the communal area because of a young adult called Jared ,he kept walking around telling us and everyone to keep quiet although we weren’t loud and they were listening to music extremely loud.Don’t think i will be visiting that place ever again.

Rian was amazing. He really made an effort at short notice. The food was great. Also gave good places to visit in the area. Room was big and welcoming. Had to park a short distance from the room.

We had a lovely coffee there and enjoyed watching our friends children play with the little toy push bikes that they had available. The area is peaceful and a great place to relax and catch up with friends.

Had a lovely time at Botterkloof Lifestyle Estate. We were very close to the pool area in Kiki's Khaya" and mostly had the communal area to ourselves. Unfortunately the accommodation needs a bit of maintenance to make the overall experience better. The estate seems to be well kept and we felt safe for the kids to move around by themselves."

Botterkloof Resort looks very nice and clean on the pictures. we as a family went there for the weekend on the Farm side. We booked 3 houses and 1 rondawel. when we arrived there it was not clean and covid friendly. Showers , ovens , fridges and tv's was not working in the houses. Bedding was stained and filthy that we decided that we paying for a holiday but nothing has been cleaned and everything broken. we then got in contact with the manager and owner. the manager was very helpful , but the owner was verkramp and we were told to leave the premises by 12midnight that same friday evening. we said we would pay extra to be on the cleaner and nicer side of the resort , but he refused to let us stay there. also if you on the farm side you have to cross the busy road to get to the pool and the park for the kids. the owner who stays on the property refused to speak to us face to face, and he treated us badly. so whoever wants to book must think very carefully because the owner is clearly verkramp and did not want to listen to our reason for not wanting to stay in those houses. oh and spiders under beds and on couches. we drove 5 hours to get there and this is how we were treated. the owner should be ashamed of himself, he is rude and utterly disgusting to be treating human beings like he did. we had to overnight at an engin garage as it was lockdown and we left there at 12pm. but out of this whole experience , we ended up at the best b & b where we had and absolute lovely time. Rusticana b & b, the owner the friendliest and best. He made us feel at home and his place was clean and we could make noise without the owner Fannie giving us any grieve. He was amazing. Actually want to give Botterkloof 0 stars , but they dont give us the option
