Double glazing installer

Unfortunately we had a situation where one of our windows needed urgent repairs, we contacted Action Glass who were very responsive to our enquiry and were able to assist with having the repairs completed on the day. Luke who attended our office did a fantastic, neat and tidy job with the minimum of fuss. If you need someone to action your repairs then you need to call these guys, they were great.

I had a total of 9 sash windows fixed up by the guys from Seal-A-Sash in my 1925 house. I think only three of the lower sections still opened (and had to be propped open) and all the others were painted shut.I've now got fully functioning sash windows throughout the house! Its great to be able to have the top ones open and let the breeze blow through (rather than having to open all the doors like we used to) and the house seems to be quieter, in terms of street noise, compared to before the windows were done.Should have had these done years ago!You won't notice any difference to the look of your old sash windows, but you'll certainly notice a difference to how they work!The guys on site were punctual, friendly, took great care to cover up all our carpet and furniture with drop sheets, etc. Cleaned up at the end of each day and barely left a trace after they'd gone.Seal-A-Sash were easy to deal with, and have made a significant improvement to the functionality of the house. I'm interested to see what improvements the new windows make to my heating bill this winter

Prestige Plus were easy to deal with and very professional in every step from sales, on-site quoting, and installation. The sound insulating window we had installed has been great and looks very smart - clearly the window was planned and manufactured and installed well. The only negative was needing to pay a deposit for an on-site measure and detailed quote.

We have now lived with our window and door systems provided by Open Windows and Doors for just over a year, we have Viridian Lightbridge Energy Performance Double Glazed Units fitted in Residential and some Magnum frames, we also have Awning windows, sliding windows, fixed windows, bi-fold doors , sliding doors and front entry and french doors so a good selection.We have found the performance and quality of all products installed to be of a very high standard, the thermal performance of them has been exceptional both keeping the heat in during the winter and out during the summer, we do not have air-con so this has been a big plus.On the few occasions we have had to contact Open Windows and Doors they have always been helpful.We can highly recommend them to anyone who has an eye for a quality product

We are so happy we decided to restore our sash windows with Sealasash. From the outset and throughout, Nicky was supportive, focused and persistent. Our job was 13 sash windows, required the team to travel up to North West Tasmania and involved a number of logistical challenges throughout the journey. Nicky's efforts ensured it all went smoothly. We were able to leave Brad and the team to it whilst we holidayed for a week. They did a great job and took great care of our home in our absence. It was very much worth the effort. One suggestion would be for Sealasash to develop a network of trained tradies across regional Tasmania, who they could engage for the purposes of measuring and quoting jobs. Whilst all went well in the end, I wasn't comfortable doing my own measurements, feeling exposed to potential mix ups and unintended additional costs. Despite this, we're stoked with the final result.

Bad place not clean around the building

Arrogant and out of touch, they took 4 months on and off to install our windows and doors.Ordered the windows and doors in 2021, 14 weeks later they contacted us and said that they will be coming on the 20th of December 2021 and will take two days to install the windows and doors. On arrival it was one man and a ute with two windows, we asked when the rest of the windows would be installed and was told that it would be the next day. The following day two men turned up with one window to install, when i asked if the whole installation of the windows and doors would be finished by Christmas I was told that this was their last day working and would be returning after the new year which was very disappointing. The supervisor made a visit on the last day before the break and counted the windows and said that there was one window missing in the quote, he told me that he would have to measure it up and give us a new quote which was given to us after the Christmas break. Received the quote and was given the design as two awning windows with a fixed pane in the middle, this took them three months to manufacture and when it was finally installed it was one very large awning window with one large fixed pane, it looks ugly like something on an industrial building, but we still paid for two awning windows in that room. Several times we had to wait to let them in over the 4 months and would plan time off of work only to have a text message in the morning to say no one would be there today due to other commitments. When the windows in the dining room were fitted the handles were very loose almost coming off, when I asked oneof many supervisors that they went through I was told to get a screwdriver and nip them up" which I did myself!I do recommend getting double glazing but do not recommend Duo Glass."

A pleasure having Open Windows and Doors complete my reno. I cannot overstate how impressed I was with the installers' attention to detail. They did a meticulous job and the overall result is a credit to their craftsmanship.

The Sealasash team were all excellent to deal with. Efficient and professional service from Nicky in the office to Brady's crew onsite, who do immaculate work and a spotless cleanup.The results are outstanding our doors and windows all open and close brilliantly.
