Cottage village

The cottage we stayed in, is owned by Robert Lawlor very rude and unfriendly man!Upon arrival the place was still dirty uncleaned and smelt like rotting fish servants were still cleaning a magnitude of dirty dishes and removing rubbish.When we left I cleaned old dust and dirt!Due to my morals and values I left the place in an immaculate condition. Everything was sterilized and cleaned.... I got rid of the staled fish smell which was old fish oil SOILED! to the core! Must have been a year old!In turn I left my pleasant aroma of which is and has been part of my whole life of who I am my aura, my well being,my comfort.!I am continuesly complimented of the energy it generates.I could do nothing about the dirty smelly stained pillows and left them without covers for Robert.. to take heed and replace them ...fortunately I use my own clean and fresh smelling bedding.Amist leaving the place in this good orderI was to find out.Not their standard!!!!Robert complained behind my back about my cleansiness and perfume smell left behind.In essence and in note.A good smell leaves a normal persons feel good" serotin levels on a high....I have never heard of this kind of behaviour before!COMPLAINING ABOUT LEAVING A PLACE CLEAN With A GOOD SMELL!Seriousley? You kidding me ?SO....Best to leave the place dirty and with that old fish smell it came with.Price also expensive compared to "Hole in the wall"We were also charged for the service of a maid and we never had one....only for 3 days and he charged us for 8 daysHave invoiceI for one will never go back to this holiday house.Area and beach is beautifull but my adviceFind better accomdation.!!!!There are quite alot of cottages for rent"

This place is absolutely amazing. It's the kind of place where you can forget that other people exist.

Safe and beautiful residential country estate. Consists of luxurious homes set around a golf course. Has a tennis court, squash court, golf, fishing and a clubhouse with table tennis, pool table and darts. Wild buck roam the estate. The estate is well maintained and strict management and standards ensure that the estate is kept in pristine condition. . Security is the top benefit of the estate. The facilities of the estate are for residents only and not available to the public for hire or viewing.

Nice place to stay

Nice chilled spot, about 10 houses in total. Big tidal changes in the lagoon. Access to the beach and rocks too for fishing. Launch site in mouth for river and sea boats. Known to be good fishing if there hasn't been too much rain. Road heading there has a lots of gravel and can get washed with rains- but 2wd bakkies will manage. Closest shops/fuel station is Elliotdale.

It is very quiet, clean and friendly community. However the accesses road is pritty bad to drive on.

Very basic fisherman's cottage but absolutely stunning views and great fishing.

We had a great time. Beautiful weather and great beaches
