Checkers Century City

Great store, with some of the freshest foods and an abundance of choices. But honestly I mostly go here for the sushi, Tony's sushi bar is located inside, prepared by Tony himself for some of the freshest and most delicious sushi I've ever had. There are ready to go platters available but I would definitely recommend taking the time to have a fresh one made. Not only does it taste better but it's actually cheaper for more sushi when you have a platter made instead of picking from the fridge. Checkers also offers a great variety of other ready to go meals, has some great health options and a beautiful wine selection for those interested. Will definitely recommend this place and be back for more very soon.

For me it's always about the customer service. The service is amazing. Friendly staff. Store is clean. You don't need to spend hours in the store to find things. Stock is well placed and there are signs on rows so that you can easily find what you need.

Great specials and combo deals always. We went for a few things...but as always when your trolley is not meant for much, we still intended to change it to a bigger trolley due to all the promotional items. Place was busy and had most items on special in stock. Lines were a bit long at the tills, but was worth the wait. Thank you Checkers for all the low prices

The checkers at Century City, is probably one of the best in Cape Town. It's quite big, very spacious. It has a Starbucks and another café situated inside. They sell a wide range of brands. Highly recommend it. The only issue is that it does get quite full especially around 11-2pm .

Shelves are not as well organized as they could be. We really had to search for just about everything. Prices not always ate the correct product. Staff are overall friendly and helpful l

The Checkers in Mountain Mill Mall has an effective generator that immediately kicks in when there's Loadshedding. This makes you feel safe and secure when shopping for necessities. The takeaway food is also fresh and tasty and there is also purified water available at a low cost of only R1 per liter. It's always nice to shop at Checkers because the friendly staff always make us feel welcome.

A nice big market with a cosy eating area, which seems clean. The hot food deli had literally nothing but chickens, but it was nearly closing time, so I'd be interested to see what they offer during the day. I was impressed by how friendly the staff were this late in the evening.

This checkers never has enough staff at the tills. I also think they need to consider changing the layout to allow better flow to the tills as customers stand in long lines next to stock making it difficult to move around the store. In addition, the layout of the stock is different to other checkers which makes it confusing and impossible to find things.

I love the variety and availability of produce and stock here. While it is a busy store,the aisles are wide enough, so I never feel boxed in. There are also always more than enough tellers available.I love the ranges that are available exclusively to Checkers and find that they have a good selection for restricted diets.
