Cape Tourism - Natures Valley
Drove down the canyon road to Nature's Valley on a whim and found the Keurbooms lagoon flooding the road at the bottom.. A short backtrack and turn took us to the local store and access to a most wonderful beach. On our walk we encountered a 10th generation South African of Huegonaut decendancy who was preparing, in his 80's, to return to The Wild Coast in servie as a medical missionary.Abalone shells abound on the beach and the marine life is prolific. This is a must see beach and hike. There is a campground here, but we didn't stay there this time. (July 2016).
