Calabash Safari Lodge

We are a family with twoChildren aged 6 and 10 years from France and we would like to thank Ruan the owner of the place for his hospitality! Ruan is a passionate ranger , knowing the bush and animals. We saw all the animals and very close. He taught us a lot about South Africa and the Kruger parc. And at the same time he is a perfect host: we were welcomed and enjoyed the stay at the calabesh lodge thanks to delicious dishes, prepared with love and attention. The setting and location is very nice , with the necessary comfort! Everything was perfect and we enjoyed our first safari experience as a family! Go there , eyes closed, everything was perfect! Thank you ! We spend unbelievable holidays ! No stress, just fun ;)

Calabash is an amazing place to stay. Beautifully built and decorated. Peaceful but also full of life and interesting creatures to see and hear.Ruan is an exceptional host, very warm and welcoming, professional, discreet and a superb cook. we fell in love with this place. It's simply magical you are in the midst of animals. Ruan concocts delicious meals for us, a real chef!
