Feedmaster / Chicken Yard
At this store, a customer is aparently not allowed to check the condition of the chicks when collecting an order...I was told by the owner to find a new supplier because I was checking my order.Any way out of 200 chicks ordered, more than 20 were defective - could not stand nor sit right and if they could stand, they were very weak; that's a 10% loss before placement at the broiler house (brooder) and a loss of 5% is eminent on placement...possibly more this winter with load shedding and reduction.I don't know about you, but I encourage my customers to check the quality of what they pay for.PS. Feed prices are erratic and have nothing to do with cost of petrol.
