Excellent service. During loadhsedding Mercy at the door was kind enough to advise us and options and saving a customer. Not only did she win me over with them having gas, but Nandie and Richard went above and beyond to make us laugh and have a wholesome time. Hands down impressed with your staff.

Popped in for lunch. Went to bathroom first. One soap dispenser broken. Other one empty. Questioning how the staff washed their hands post going to the bathroom to then prepare my food I left as I didn’t want food poisoning. Or worse.UPDATE - 2 weeks later.Establishment left a reply to my review saying click here as we want to be in touch. I followed their instructions as I thought they may want more details. 2 weeks on from doing that no-one has contacted me. Their reply to the bad review is just a PR stunt to make them look like they take issues seriously - THEY DON'T!Stay away, we don't need to eat in dirty restaurants.May 2023 update:Out of desperation to feed my son we ventured back. Ordered a platter. 35 minutes later it arrived. Cold chips. Useless useless useless. When I informed the waitress that the chips were cold her response was: ‘OH’!!!OH - customer service pathetic. Restaurant messy and strewn with staff sitting around at customer tables and work papers everywhere.IF I EVER UPDATE THIS REVIEW AGAIN FOR ATTENDING AGAIN PLEASE HAVE ME COMMITTED!

We stopped here for a quick bite on arrival to camps bay. Food was nice - same Ocean Basket quality, drinks were very refreshing and service was good. There were loads of tables outside amd inside (upstairs and downstairs), We sat upstairs facing the ocean, views were just amazing. All in all a good quick bite

We came there as tourists hoping to find a seat to watch the sunset while having dinner. The team refused to let us sit upstairs, despite our plea to get a stunning seat. Lost opportunity to use your strategically advantageous location.Next we wait, and waited, and waited some more for service. The management team only looked up to speak with the foreign tourists. Did not even glance in our direction. I notified the management team twice that we were waiting for service.Waitress only took one order from a table of 8 people and then disappeared. The meal arrived while the rest of the table were not even asked about their order.Again, management were too busy charming the foreigners and forgetting about the rest of the clients.Food was great, portions, taste was according to expectationSadly, if the leadership want to play in the hospitality industry, perhaps learn about guest relations. We really had bad service. Pity....

we had dinner in front of the beach while watching the sunset. henry was our waitress and we was kind and friendly :). food was delicious (we has both fish) and prices are fair!

The food was fresh and we enjoyed our meals. The quantities were more than I expected and we all left extremely full with some to take home. We all enjoyed the prawns. Hands down, some of the tastiest prawns I've ever had. Delish...!

Upon entering, no1 was a t the front to welcome us. We just strolled on in. Went to the loo and the toilets were dirty with wet floors, hair and toilet paper all over the floor.Upon leaving the toilet, the rest of my party had been seated. Food took quite long to be served and our order was incorrect. I guess the only highlight was that it's withing walking distance of the ocean so it gives off a really chilled ambiance

Good service, location and food. Most tender fish and prawns. The chips were perfect.Definitely the best OB I’ve been to in the country.

While browsing the menu, I saw a cockroach crawling up a wall.I waited 30minutes after being seated for my waitress to ask for my order.The food was not very warm when it got to my table. I wanted to report this to my waitress, but she was having a meeting at the cash register with two other people.The worst dining experience out of any of the OB restaurants I have been to.
