Snel Guest Lodge

Rooms are clean, functional, and beds are comfortable. But some rooms will lock behind you because the latch is loose and falls closed! Got locked out late in the evening and had a very grumpy response on the emergency contact number. The breakfast is included and is pretty good. The pool is suspect and we didn't use it. There is free WiFi, but most of the time you can't get through to the internet AT ALL; do not depend on it! We found that the staff was very friendly and accommodating in person - they helped us a lot with advice, information, assistance, and printing out things.

The place was amazing the people were so nice the food was even better, the beds were nice and soft i did not freeze cause the blankets were nice and warm but not haevy, only problem was is that there isn't a lot of tv shows to watch

This supposed 4 star rated Guest Lodge is not what it is described to be. As a certified auditor, I would struggle to give this place a single star. For 3 days the owner drove past me and never smiled or even greeted me! The rooms need a serious upgrade to be a 1 star rating. The food is a subject we stay away from. I am an amateur chef that can present food at a 1000 times better than what I received here. I had coffee the 1 evening in my room and the following evening the milk had not been replaced. The DSTV channels for Super Sport does not work properly and this is 2018 world cup season. You have to give a deposit of R300 to get a remote for the Air-conditioning in your room or face freezing temperatures. The door locks are very dicey and does not give you a sense of security. I can continue with the issues of this establishment but this feels as if it is just a waste of my time. My company will NEVER use this place again if I have a say in the matter and I do believe I have a big say being a senior manager in the Corporate Division of the Company.

Small rooms and seem to be cluttered. Walls (color) is too dim, doesn't have a feel happy" vibe/mood.The bed also uncomfortable and smaller than average. The place is Just OK"

Spent a night here recently and it was ok. Rented a room for 3 but there were only 2 cups and glasses etc we had to ask for another. There was no milk in the room - we had to ask for it. We were given our key and pointed in the direction of the room but not shown to it or around it.The room was really squashed for a 3 sleeper (2 beds) as well. But the rooms were clean and the beds comfortable.

I stayed here with 2 of my colleagues from Maizey Plastics for 5 days, and let me tell you, this is by far the best accommodation I've ever booked into.I shared my room with one colleague and both our expectations were exceeded.The 4 star achievement is based upon the Kitchen staff. They were very friendly and served us with exceptional and quality dishes. The desserts were out of this world.The rooms are fitted with DSTV, a fridge, microwave and kettle.. The beds are very comfortable, good quality beds for sure.There is an entertainment area consisting of a pool, braai area, bar and pool table.This accommodation establishment is highly recommended, please try it out.

Rooms does not smell great. No toilet spray. Order 2 days omelet and recieved not what I ordered. The blinds in bathroom looks terrible en grillerig. Dinner is not worth what they charged. The owner charge the company for coldrink and water than on the 2nd day I have to ask for it. Terrible place to stay

Nothing special, it is a normal guest house with clean rooms, a TV and Aircon in the rooms.We had breakfast there and it was exactly as expected. Good service, nice food and business like atmosphere.As an overnight business lodge, Snel is perfect. They even have a shot of sherry waiting for you in your room.My only complaint will be the parking lot. There was enough space but it feels a bit cramped.

Everything about Snell Lodge was on point. The host, the staff, the facilities absolutely amazing. Neat and tidy outlook, quality all round. Thank you Adri and co, for an amazing and comfortable stay.
