One of the nicest walks in PE. The view from the top is awesome and lots of nice activities at Falcon Rock for the family that wants to join but not take the full hike. Take the green trail if you don't like climbing a little bit...

Beautiful scenery and not too hectic of a climb, please don’t take young kids (1-9 years) up there are some pretty intense parts to climb.

For a good workout whilst on holiday, do the Lady Slipper trail. It will leave you breathless in more ways than one. This is a steep climbing trail, challenging the heart and lungs going up and turning the legs to jelly going down. You will suffer if you do not enjoy a moderate level of fitness, but if you rest frequently along the way you will be able to make it. Do take water with and a little energizing snack.

We really enjoyed our Hike and overnight camping at Lady Slipper Krantzkloof. We had a warm welcome from Leon, who thoroughly explained the route to us. The area and the view is amazing, and definitely worth the hike. The campsite and ablutions are well kept and neat. I would love to go back with a group of friends, or even a few father's and their sons.

Incredible hike and adventure walk on this trail. The new trail is but an 2 hours (fast paced walk) and 4 hours (slow paced nature walk). The incline makes it hard to have a trail run, but once at the top there are some awesome paths to run. The incline also has some long bushes and trees which are over grown that makes it challenging to walk, but that seems a lot better on the way down the old path. All in all - great way to spend a day and with the right weather you get an incredible view.

This was a very good experience. A bit tough at a few points but worth it when you get to the summit. Allocate some time to rest and refresh when you reach the summit. Be sure that your shoes are in good condition as some parts might be slippery.

We did this hike around 4 times already and every time it's amazing. Great experience and great exercise. I would say it's a level 2 hike because at some places you need to climb and use your hands but great for beginners. It's a long hike so make sure to take water and a protein snack. Affordable and felt quite safe. There is a board with a number for emergencies. The view is spectacular and well worth it every time.
