If or when you visit #Stellenbosch #SouthAfrica, I highly recommend this place. The specials they serve are incredibly good. Although it can get pricey, it's worth the price.

Starters are affordable,we had a lovely rich pork belly. Mains are rather pricey, we shared a Mushroom Risotto which was tasty. Friendly helpful staff.

Oppie Dorp Restaurant, Bistro and Bar
My wife and I had dinner here this past weekend. Considering the price point, we were disappointed with the standard of the food. We both had the lamb, and mine was not soft, quite chewy in fact, (my wife's was better) but both of ours was way too salty, and this coming from someone who enjoys their food on the salty side. For desert, I had the Creme Brulee, this too wasn't up to standard, with the consistency being far too runny. My wife had the Malva pudding, and it was rather bland. Service was good enough, and staff were friendly, they just need to up their game in the kitchen.

We arrived a bit late and there was a bus load of folks in here, so we had to order quickly.The food which they served was just gorgeous. We have never seen such a huge tuna steak, or succulent ostrich fillets. They have a great range of affordable wines, and the service is very good if a little erratic.

Always great!With lockdown, we haven't been to Oppie Dorp in a while, but for the first time we went again this Sunday for lunch! Even if all the restaurants are fighting for their lives at the moment, Oppie Dorp has keeping all its wonderful style! Great food, excellent service! Absolutely love it!Mario Adalbert M.

Lovely restaurant with really nice staff! We had a very tasty springbok cappacio, followed by the amazing wild platter: ostrich, springbok, crocodile, kudu and duck. And finished with a nice creme brulee. They were able to prepare all of this gluten free :)Would definitely go back here!

When you approach, there is outside seating which looks very casual and inviting, but when you enter the front door you are greeted with a place of elegance and comfort.The waiters are well prepared and there is nothing on the menu they are unsure of and have the specials down pact.I was hoping the food would be as good as the the service, but it was better! We could not have asked for a better prepared meal, even the side dishes were prepared to perfection.Dear owner, I commend you on the absolute exquisite food, oh, and I loved reading and having a giggle at the quips you have on the menu

Oppie Dorp was a pleasant surprise. They are very unassuming from the outside. Once you sit down you are blown away. The service was great. Eddie was attentive to our needs and gave us great service. The food was delicious. Oppie Dorp is very affordable. The portions are generous. We ordered the pork belly and calamari starters and it was almost like a main meal. Some restaurants would give you less as a main meal. Very tasty! The dessert was very nice too. We will be going back.

Oppie Dorp Restaurant, Bistro and Bar
Highly recommended. We visited two nights in a row as the 300g sirloin with onion rings impressed us last night. Tonight we ordered their famous lamb dish: amazing!! Jerry was our waiter on both occasions, friendly and a real ambassador for the restaurant. Thank you Jerry!
