Cattle Baron Tyger Waterfront
I have been to this Cattle Baron a few times now, and each time, I have always enjoyed the experience. It is an incredibly well laid out restaurant, great ambience, and can be visited for a night out, brunch, lunch or whatever you want. As with everything, it can be pricey, but the service has been really good, and my girlfriend and I have been blessed with great weather for each occasion we have been at the restaurant. The food quality is very good, well prepared, and flavourful. The ribs we had (as per images) was cooked perfectly and with enough flavour, but I did find it was less meat on the bone that previous, so the grade for it was less.Other than that, I love the overall experience, and would definitely recommend it, even for those winter date nights, as they keep the place nice and comfortably toasty.

The pork loin spare ribs are exquisite. You must have the creamed spinach & cinnamon infused Butternut as the side, its better than any side I've ever had (potato wedges, sweet potato chips, rice, it trumps it all!).The sirloin champignon was also great, 4/5. Just not as great as other streaks I've enjoyed.Diemersdal Sauvignon Blanc was good.

Very friendly staff, we were 16 at the table, asked for 8 starter platters 10min after we sat down, and was on time and super nice. Had left overs for next day neatly put in a box. Food came all together warm and very tasty. We had our own cake on table and they gave the birthday person a special dessert with wishes on. We had a stunning view on the water. Thank You to everyone.

Just wanted to say thank you for an amazing Father’s Day lunch on Sunday.Our waiter Terrance was amazing his service was beyond brilliant, well mannered, great charisma ,light hearted humour, upselling & knowledge of the products was world class.Haven’t experience a waiter like in forever and hats off to him.Will definitely be back thanks to Terrance.

What an incredible experience. Our waitress, Faith, was such a pleasure to have. I’d go as far as to say that she’s the best waitress we’ve ever had. The food was phenomenal and service time perfect. Also received a surprise at the end as we where celebrating a special occasion. We look forward to returning soon.

I visited this restaurant on Friday for the first time in quite a while. Kudos to the new owners with the new interior - looks very smart.We ordered for the main course fillet-on-the-bone with the blackened pepper option. Although the meat was done medium to rare it tasted a bit dry...weird?The complimentary bread rolls were much smaller than in the past and was ice cold and the butter was rock hard...not pleasant at all.Even the Irish coffee glasses seemed to shrink...?All in all, it was still an enjoyable evening.Footnote: I missed the linen napkins and the complimentary veggies from the old" Cattle Baron."
