Hatfield

Gautrain stressless trip. Process to purchase tickets a little slow for new commuters. Had to move between machines. Further everything else went smoothly. Announcements on the train is clear and very helpful to let you know where and when to get off.

I took the Gautrain from Hatfield to Sandton for the first time in many years today and can report that the experience was very convenient. Sadly I have to comment on the negative as well. This was just the staff member behind the dark glass at the service counter. The room was dark and you could not see anything inside so if it was not for the security that told me to ask my question there I would have thought it was closed. Then of course I could not hear a word he was saying through the thick glass.... Terrible... What I could could pick up was that he was rude and unfriendly. And this at your client facing/interface point was very disappointing, Gautrain.

Gautrain Hatfield is such a lovely place. Clean and trains on time when I used them

Always well maintained and clean with excellent facilities and security. The parking is very full at times so you may have to park a few floors up. The queue at the cashier can be quite long so if you can rather use the self service machines I would definitely recommend this.

The management should do something about the metered taxi guys who are stopping people from getting into uber or bolt.I had to walk from the station at least for 1,8 km to get to my driver.

Fast mode and mid tier mode of transport. Nothing much to complain about here!

Very nice system comparable to that of Europe. However the busses from station to other destinations (Steve biko hospital for example) very costly and not available most of the time. Area unsafe to walk to destination.

The service was so fast I got there paid for the ticket and got on the train in under 5 min for a first time customer I must say its a nice feeling not to wait in line when I got to midrand the bus was ready to leave. When I went home the same thing got on the bus where I was dropped only waited about 5 min and when I got to the station the staff was very friendly and showed me exactly where to go and even in the train when you leave and arrive they let you know witch station is next so there was no confusion of where to go I would highly recommend this service to anyone that needs to travel through gauteng
