Frail care is not a free care,not everyone can even afford frail care,but I feel that a human being should be treated with respect,and a clean place to stay,Solheim itself I don't know ,but there where I have a family member can be cleaner and better.

In my opinion this is one of the best retirement homes. My mom was there and she got the best treatment until the end. My step dad was there came out of germiston hospital in a very bad state did not think he was going to recover, the staff at Solheim nursed him back to health.

A wonderful retirement home for the aged. Our Mom has been here for the past 3 years and they have looked after her as well as they possibly can. The Senior Sister's and Nurse's are just amazing and very friendly. Security is very good. Solheim is a beautiful and well established Suburb and is close to all amenities. Whether it be the normal care, frail care or Alzheimer's section the elderly are very well looked after. So if you looking for a Home away from home for your parents or Grandparents go visit Solheim Retirement Home and see for yourself. God Bless these Sisters, Nurse's and Staff who look after the elderly when we not able to.

Caring staff. Facilities for various degrees of frailty. 3 wholesome meals per day. Shopping arranged and on site tuck shop. On premises nurse and doctor visits regularly.

Front desk personal is friendly, but that is where it ends.Medication & private property gets stolen,people get treated with little or no respect & nothing gets done by management even when you have proof.Nor management or any staff members take any responsibility for anything.You just have to keep coughing up for the bills.They promise you the moon & stars, but that is not the treatment they provide to the people there.I will not recommend them.

The best service we received under any caregiven facility offered......especially for what you pay. Management THANK YOU..... Marietjie, you were sent to us. Nurses, and I have to empathise them......THANK YOU THANK YOU for the wonderfull, love and care you gave mom. No words can describe that. JOLENE you proved humanity still exist in this country........we adore and love everything you did for us....... To the rest of the staff, thank you. All our love to all.

Solheim Retirement Home
Solheim is a subsidized retirement home with a Frail Care Unit that provides accommodation for the Lowe income group elderly person. Facilty is always clean but staff is limited and requires a dedicated Matron & more Registered Nurses. It is a pity that the Lotto money is not given in large sums to facilities like this in sooo much need!!

Standard old aged home. I haven't dealt with Solheim in such a way to post a fair and honest review. As for what I experienced is not any different from other old aged homes.
