Ambiance and Food - excellent.Pity about the slow service once seated. After initial contact, service was acceptable.Lane variety of dishes available.

Waiters and waitresses took their time to service us. Horrible customer service. They even take long to bring a bill. The wrap looked delicious, but it was just not for me. Their menu is difficult to understand, it had no pictures. I enjoyed their cappuccino though.

Its absolutely beautiful inside. They have a ceiling that will make one feel like you are dining in an exclusive restaurant. The service was beautiful. The food was presented so beautifully and tasted just as beautiful. It has a seating area outside as well. Makes for great pictures.

How disappointing to find that my favorite restaurant missed the mark and ruined the outing.I ordered scrambled eggs with corn, crispy bacon and brioche french toast without sugar berries.It was served on 3 separate plates.Eggs were served first cold, then floppy bacon on another plate and soggy french toast covered in sugar on yet another plate.My guests meal was served in the same way, however her eggs were hot.Plates sent back for rectification...my eggs represented...still cold..then eventually the bacon and french toast.My guest eating alone while I waited.I ordered rooibos tea and asked for the pot to be filled with hot water...only half a pot arrived...waitress was looking everywhere except at our table...eventually asked another waitress to fill the pot and she obliged.I wont be rushing back ....very disappointed and disillusioned by this.What a shame...no evidence of a manager sorting out the buggerups

We waited for 20 minutes to be seated, but the food was delicious and the ambience was lovely, so it was worth the wait. The service was good, but I asked for several items on the menu and was told that they could not serve me what I wanted because they did not have specific ingredients. Nonetheless, the food I chose was undeniably delicious.

I went there for breakfast with a friend on Friday. The place was packed (as usual).Positives:1. I got the Rodeo Drive" Sandwich on Ciabatta and the chicken mayo was delicious. The chicken was tender and the mayo was flavourful. You can taste the freshness of all the ingredients.2. Their French Toast was light and fluffy with a sweet crunch. The mascarpone and fruit jam paired really well with the toasts.3. The Cucumber Granita was delicious and refreshing.Negatives:1. The French Toast was initially served to us burnt on one side. We mentioned it to our waitress and got a another plate made after about 20 minutes.Overall this place offers great tasting food with good service. It's an elevated establishment who knows what they are doing."

I regularly visit Tashas on account of a client being conveniently nearby. On my last visit I arrived rather early, so they were still preparing the restaurant. I then sat outside, waiting for the interior space to be ready.It turned out that I ended up waiting about an hour for the client to arrive, but it took almost all this time to get service, even after I moved inside.Eventually, after asking for the manager, from yet another staff member that looked me right in the eyes but just walked by, I was noticed.The manager was quick to apologise, my client arrived, and all was well after. Besides this initial issue, I really enjoyed the place, the food, and the company.I don't consider the oversight to have been intentional, and I would still recommend them highly. I prefer them mainly because they're pet friendly. I consider this proof that the owners are good people, capable of accepting anyone - even pawed patrons!Thanks for yet another great experience!
