One of my favorite places to go and relax! The views, the serenity, the nature, all to behold! Love driving the scenic route through and around the bridge to look up at it!

Nice views. I am not aware of security problems but it is a bit secluded so be careful. Drive slowly down the pass.

The pride of the Eastern Cape...it's beautiful. The views is awesome...fun for the adventurous. Nature on its best. The old road give you the perfect view and greater appreciation for the bridge.

Van Staden's Bridge
This is one of many awe-inspiring feats of engineering over deep canyons along the south coast. Access to the view from below is easy and quick: Watch either eastbound or westbound on the N2 for signs to Van Staden’s Pass on the R102. You follow that lovely road down to the magnificent view then continue right back up the the N2. Well worth it.

Such an amazing view of the bridge from the bottom, but yet such a sad view as well. Knowing that nearly 100 people have passed away by jumping off the bridge since 1971.
