Thai restaurant

Good food as always. Noodles are well cooked and flavoured. 500 range is always a winner. Easier to eat from this branch due to being served in bowls rather than from others which only have takeaway containers. Staff are good and service is decent but nothing amazing.

The best Thai food we've had in a long time! And the first time I've seen Khao Soi on a menu in South Africa. Everything was delicious and the owner was super friendly and helpful. If we lived nearby, this would be my regular takeout spot.

Very good atmosphere, the location in which the restaurant is situated is very good. Taste of the food was not good. I had massaman curry, the flavour of the gravy was not good. Veg spring roll was ok.

I wouldn't have considered going here when driving past. But my husband decided to surprise me with something different for my birthday. And what a great place it is! Tasty food, good portions. Friendly staff, tranquil setting. Loved everything about it!

Book in advance as seating is limited. Their food is delicious and heat levels good. Friendly service and a homely feel.

Visited this branch today and they got my order wrong 3 times, instead of a resolution and apology I had the manager tell me that's how they make it. I've had issues with this branch via Mr Delivery aswell but to have a valid complaint and be scolded by the manager who was super annoyed by my very valid complaints.I even left the food because I was tired of sending it back.I love Simply Asia and no other branch has this poor standard of food or customer care.

Halaal nranch, fully halaal.The meal portions are not big, but enough for 1 person, I wished the sweet and sour prawns were made with crispy battered prawns and that the sauce was thicker, we had corn cakes noodles with beef , sweet and Sour prawns and choc spring rolls. The drinks and deserts are reasonably priced. This branch never had banana so 2 of our desert choices had to be changed. They no longer do crispy fried duck, disappointed. The kitchen was rather untidy and a bit deurmekaar. The wok area was not neat or cleaned while cooking. Sorry but you need to tidy as you go along. Staff are okay with service, but in a basic way. Khao Hom is still my favorite halaal Thai food restaurant. Visit them in Claremont.

We had a light lunch wonton soup noodles which was very tasty. Sushi was good and well priced. We returned for dinner and had the starter mussels and the pork & prawn sui mei - both dishes were good. The tom yum soup was very disappointing - it lacked the correct flavours and ingredients. I ordered the vegetarian chow mein - the vegetables were nice and crunchy but sadly the dish was rather salty. Great cocktails- I had the non-alcoholic Pina Colada. The restaurant has beautiful views and friendly service.

It is sushi special night, the restaurant is about 60% of capacity. A constant stream of uber eats / Mr Delivery drivers arriving to collect plastic bags set out on the sushi bar counter...Making four customers wait more than 90 minutes for a single plate of sushi each...All while the uber eats / Mr Delivery drivers come and go...Unjustifiable given the circumstances. I would NOT advise anyone to expect good overall service from this place.Going back would be setting myself, and my friends, up for disappointment.

Purchased takeaways. Food was absolutely delicious and saucy! I was very impressed with the care taken in packaging. Well done! Definitely getting more soon. Please note: the photo was taken after we had eaten.
