Beautiful fabrics but very expensive.Lady owner was overly" helpful at first. The moment you decide what you want she runs away.Workers there were helpful and cut fabric nicely.I think it was the male owner...he put us off ever coming back to the shop.As he folds the fabric dragging it on the floor he steps all over it."

Such a wonderful fabric store with such amazingly helpful and friendly staff. Their prices are really good, beautiful fabrics and an absolutely welcoming atmosphere. Ahmed is one of those people that goes out of his way to assist and satisfy the customer, as well as everyone else that I have ever dealt with in that store. A well run store, well stocked with what you're looking for and truly value for your money. A sterling example of a business that is excellently run with pride, the staff is well informed, their stock is quality and it is always an absolute pleasure to shop for fabrics here at LA Fabrica in Overport

Beautiful and clean store stocked with some stunning fabrics. The fabrics are in the higher price range though that appears to be related to their target market. The staff and I think owner are very pleasant and helpful. I was impressed to see that left hand people were catered for with fabric scissors instead of seeing silly ambidextrous ones or poorly thought out handles slapped on right handed scissors.
