It is more an eatery than a restaurant, low rating is more because of the venue. Food was tasty and the service friendly.You can order items not on the menu.All food are made fresh so you will have to be prepared to wait longer than usual.

Authentic and delicious Indian food! Not easy to find in Cape Town but Mother India was an unexpected gem and we order from them weekly now. Thank you for bringing great Indian food to the Northern suburbs.

Phoned and confirmed booking for a Saturday evening 07/07/19 at 19:00. Received a WhatsApp message from owner confirming booking. Arrived to find all the lights off, doors closed and to only walk through the dark to find some form of back entrance that ended up being a private bar. To then be told that the restaurant is closed. Absolutely shocking service as I also sent WhatsApp to Munir (owner) before leaving to the restaurant. Absolutely terrible service, shocking. I wouldn't give it another go. There's MUCH MUCH better places in and around Durbanville.
