The evening staff nurses are rude. They lack humaness. There is one in particular who claims to have had a hip replacement, she is evil to the core. If you don't want your job, leave it and stop ill treating people who have a RIGHT to be there. Before you are a nurse you are human, treat people with respect and dignity. The toilets don't work, I don't know how a 500ml is meant to flush a toilet.

I know they are under staff and such people go to national to get better instead you either leave there more angry or your they let your family member die ,so let's just say avoid that place staff is terrible they don't have manners and people can be bleeding out they will wait until you are close to death or dying before they assist with any of your problem if there was a different rating service I would rate them -5

Very bad, no meals. Toilets blocked with baby nappies. No clean cups for water out the tap. There are coldrick machines . Place stinks very bad and dirty.

They kill my son and my daughter. I hate them.

Kak service from the pediatric ward came in with a baby that had a high fever and I had to wait for hours and every time we went to ask for help the nurses told us they knew their job... They didn't even check my baby.

Pathetic to say the least. Trying to phone hospital for last half an hour but no answer. Maybe staff is sleeping. Most incompetent and heartless staff at ward 8. Throw away dead baby like it's trash. AVOID NATIONAL HOSPITAL AT ALL COST

After having to cancel my medical aid due to my previous employer who couldn't afford to pay their share of the aid due to Covid, I got pregnant unplanned.I was really scared to go to a government hospital, due to previous bad experiences a few years backNot everyone can afford a private hospital cashThank you to the staff in the maternity ward for treating us moms with dignity, love and respectFrom the security staff, the kitchen staff, nurses, doctors, students, cleaning staff, theater staffI was received with kindness, the staff was helpful, the older nurses were strict, because they care.The ward was clean, we could bath and feel fresh, the food was healthy and fresh, the beds was cleaned daily.May God bless each and every staff member at National District Hospital BloemfonteinEven under enormous pressure, you do your job with compassion.Thank you from the bottom of my ❤L Trollip

This was the first time that I went back to the pharmacy as they did not issue all my meds. I am 68 and a young white guy tell me they cannot give me the full prescription I must go to a specialist at Universitas because the medication is addicted. Who is the guy to tell me what I must do. I had a fusion and use that meds for years. If he wants to be matchoman go to the nightclub.

Had a really good experience here with my stepdad. The staff was really friendly, helpful and gentle. The blood work took a lot of time to get back, but the rest was really good.

Well not much can be expected from a state hospital however if you have the right attitude and you persist with patience then someone will eventually capitulate and attend to your loved one as they deserve to be treated with diginity in this rainbow nation of ours.It was a real boon to see the young trainee doctors at work all pumped up with life and eager to assist. You can see on most of them that it is not a professional they are pursuing but rather yielding tothe mesmerizing commitment of a true calling.With such devotion that beams feom their auras , I have yet hope for this country of ours and I believe us as a people have to fix things ourselves starting with the life threatening and car damaging POTHOLES.Let us unite for a common course and bri ng ethics and values back.I thank you
