I enjoy shopping in the complex. It is big with a variety of goods. The checkers money market makes it easy for one to pay municipal bills and to pay other bills. Direct airtime supply is easy to purchase for different devices . The key and shoe shop is a bonus. If you are hungry the Spur is also right there.

Checkers Plumstead is located in a truly awful area. Cecil Road that runs past the shopping centre is dirty. It is very off-putting. I nevertheless thought I would attempt to shop there. The parking lot is big and parking readily available but the shopfronts facing onto the parking area are grubby looking. The centre needs a good clean and so does the Checkers store. Checkers should take more care to ensure the areas surrounding their stores are hygienic. I will not be going back there.

Deli bar food not as tasty as home cooked meals. Chicken is dry from being presented for a maximum of three days. Mac and cheese lacks flavor including salt. Salads are ok. Only complaint is deli bar. Checkers should up their game with regards to their logo fresher and fresher and staff should have the privilege of buying one day old food at a discounted price instead of them trying to profit from selling to the public.

Always clean and shelves are always well stocked and displaying prices with rare exceptions. Decent range for the size. Better prices than competitors. Keep it up!

The shop is always clean and tidy. Some of the staff are not very friendly. You should not bother them when they are on the shop floor and ask them for a particular item that you are looking for. That seems to irritate them and when they do help you, it's like they have worked/done too much for the day.
