Malewane Lodge at Royal Malewane

The facilities are lovely, staff are wonderful and the game drives were the best. I rate it a 3/5 because the reservations team are a nightmare to deal with. Very slow to respond and poor communicators. We were left waiting at the airport without transport that we had requested days prior, due to this poor feedback. Until today I am waiting for Jacqueline to respond to my request for an invoice for our stay, 12 days later.

We are tour operators and went to Royal Malewane for a sight inspection and we’re truly blown away. It is Luxurious and the team truly makes you feel as though you apart of their family and the food was exceptional! The perfect spot for business, honeymooners, families they are able to accommodate all traveler’s !

Fantastic rooms, fantastic service and hospitality and yes fantastic views from the rooms. The rooms are very luxurious ,Like the name says, you are surly Royalty in here.

Had a manicure & facial at the Spa. The cost was exorbitant. We were given bottles of facial creams, they were charged to the account but we were not asked if we wanted them.

Truly a magical location. The accommodations themselves are top tier, yet now slightly older as the resort opened in 1999. I say that to make it clear this is not the location with all the new architectural digest designs or latest in resort design principles, yet it exceeded expectations in every way.The staff here was unparalleled. Nowhere else have I ever felt so cared for. So pampered. The people here, from the front of house to the spa to the guides/trackers took a vested interest in your happiness and executed at every step along the way. Whatever you wanted was never far away, all you had to do was ask and you’d be greeted with a genuine smile and interest. You will leave here with a new lease on life.

The few days that we went were filled with rain but that didn’t stop our fun. Kevin and Conrad escorted us and helped us see all of the big five through all kinds of crazy weather and terrain. Hotel was magnificent and chef Michael prepared us awesome kosher meals. The rooms were beautiful but we couldn’t use our plunge pool because of the weather. They even washed all of our clothes. Highly Recommend
