Excellent service! The return and exchange on the website is very user friendly. When I phoned to request a change with the exchange the consultant was super helpful and friendly. And the whole process from delivery to exchange and delivery again took less than a week. Some of the best and smoothest internet transactions I have ever done!

Avoid their online shopping platform at all costs. Bashafrica lists items that are already out of stock as available. Took three weeks and 8 emails to get my refund. They continued to ask for my bank details for the refund, which they had from the start. Utter incompetence. Rather visit physical stores.

I wish I had read these reviews earlier. Bash/Birkenstock SA are fine, until you need aftersales assistance.Birkenstock shoes themselves are absolutely excellent and I have many pairs, but will hesitate to purchase online through Bash again. Superbalist or Woolies also stock Birkenstock as online options (I believe Bash supplies all SA Birkenstocks) and have efficient after sales if/when required as an alternative.

I had excellent service. Ordered online yesterday. Arrived promptly today. Always great shoes glad these fit properly. A bit more advice on fit would be welcome as I am a true 5.5 ie 38.5 so don’t always know whether to obtain a 5 or a 6. I bought a low wedge to help my feet and my back and I hope this pair will deliver. I have had my other Birkenstocks for 5 years and they are still going strong so heartily recommend the brand.

OMG, wish I saw these reviews before ordering. I was sent incorrect order. which I returned. No one answers the phone, Customer care reply fairly promptly to refer to consultant dealing with the order. THERE IS NO CONSULTANT!!!!!! No body gets back to you....asked for refund still waiting.I love the shoes, but will never ever buy on line ever. Wheres my refund BASH???????

I was really surprised to read all of these negative reviews after my experience with the company. I bought a pair online and the colour was a bit lighter than what I recalled seeing online. I called their offices multiple times in the return process to gain clarity and get updates on how to send back the old pair and receive the new pair with the colour I wanted; and every time my call was answered without any waiting time and the ladies who I spoke to were very kind. I sent back my pair via a courier on a Thursday and received the new pair on the following Wednesday. They provided top notch service. So either the company fixed the issues noted by other reviewers.....or the other reviewers are being a bit too demanding and critical.

Wow! What an awful experience.Six phone calls to repeat the same story about a return to a new employee that keeps telling me they are going to get back to me with an update and then doesn't, has got to be one of the worst brand experiences.There is a reason you are rated a low 2.2.Pay attention to what your customers are saying and be better. This is just unacceptable for a brand of this stature.

I have been trying to get hold of your aftersales teams with no luck. The shoes are bough is too big and would like to exchange. Telephones are not being answered and emails are ignored? How do I get hold of anyone? Very disappointing after sales service.

I ordered a pair of shoes just before Christmas, I thought it wouldn't arrive in time and I got them 3 days later. Really great customer service and would 10/10 use them again and recommend to friends.The shoes are so comfortable - it's hard to wear anything else!!

Love the shoes but Bash Africa aftercare sales is pathetic. They were out of stock of a black friday item but didn't bother to inform me of the short delivery, and still has not bothered to process my refund 6 weeks later despite me calling them almost every day to remind them to do so. There is also no support for the call center where if you ask to speak to a manager you get excuses like they are in meetings the whole day, they went home already or you have to be put on a waiting list for a manager to contact you which they never do. Absolutely no manager has bothered to contact me despite being on that waiting list for weeks now. You'd be lucky to get an email response if you email customer care. Absolutely pathetic service. Giving 1 star is far too much. Would never recommend buying on this website!!!
