STAY FAR AWAY! Do not use Mastertech plumbing, they will come into your apartment with their equipment do a quick 2 minute infrared photo and then pretend they know where a leak is coming from. Our apartment was vacant at the time that they came in we were told to seal a bath which we did, the tenant moved in a few weeks later and the leak started again. Mastertech refused to come back and see where the leak was coming from saying it was a new leak even though the technician told me that their was a guarantee on their work. They are crooks, thieves and have no clue about plumbing because it was not the bath sealing that caused the leak.

BEWARE SCAMMERS!!!! Do not use them!!! Unprofessional and incompetent. Spent less than 10 minutes doing an assessment which turned out to be completely incorrect and no-one cares. After being paid twice by mistake, i am still waiting for a refund, 8 months later. disgusting!

Fast to take your money, quote on work that's not necessarily, incorrect data provided in first report. Took ages to get them back on site. Failed to provide a follow up report.

Not a very reputable company. The staff lie and fob you off. They insist on up front payment. They did not detect a leak that was causing untold damage. Report stated something bizarre. When it was pointed out that a leak did in fact exist and proof provided they played silly buggers. I eventually got them to agree to a refund but that was just to shut me up. They have no intention of refunding money. Is there a body they can be reported too as they surely must be held accountable for the service they supposed to provide. Give them NO STARS

Do not ever use this company. I would give zero stars if I could. Their incompetence is only surpassed by the bad attitude of the office staff and the owner of the company. After incorrectly identifying the leak, they fixed" the leak by replacing a perfectly good piece of pipe

These people do not offer any reliable service. They insisted on cash before reporting on their detection. Told us the leak was in the shower. We were uneasy of their approach and got independent plumbers in to repair the leak only to find no leak in the shower but the leak was in the floor on the other side of the bathroom. We reported this to Cape Leak Detection expecting a refund of their charge. We did not even ask to be recompensed for the broken shower tiles removed unnecessarily. Even with all the evidence supplied to them, their reply was our detection was not wrong". Use them at your own risk."
