What a horrendous experience we have had with this property agent!Can't wait for this ordeal to end.Incompetent handling of our OTP by the agent left us homeless and dealing with third parties on our own.Joey promised to ensure both our old and new properties will register simultaneously so we will not pay rent.This did not materialise. She advised us poorly around a fixture in the house, which we had to seek legal opinion on when the buyers expressed a different view.She introduced another agent into the picture, who actually sold our house.She never protected our interests when this agent made the deal, we ended up paying 125% in agent commissions because she just sat there.We lost our beloved fireplace (not cheap) because she didn't know it's not a fixture.She sat there and listened while here clients We let all these go because everyone makes mistakes.When she stopped taking both our calls, ignoring our voice and written notes out of the blue, we threatened to call a talk radio station.She promptly told us from then on we can only speak to her through her lawyers.She was now uncooperative and completely ruthless, taking up to week to respond to our communications and when she eventually did, she would give us literally a few hours to reply on big decisions.Same day deadlines. She threteaned us twice with legal action for our 'malicious' emails to her and her lawyers.What she calls malicious, we call frustration and anger at being undermined repeatedly by a woman who cost a family of five to be homeless through her own incompetence.A woman who went out of her way to avoid and undermine us until we had no choice but to get our own lawyer involved.When she came to hand over our keys yesterday; no greetings, cold eyes, stiff demeanor and an attitude of a teenager.She stormed away without warning or a goodbye...and the house is still not ours as yet.Now; if you are going to take money from people in business, at least be professional and respectful about it.Never take the money and threaten, ignore and abuse clients.Especially after causing them so much emotional and financial distress. This was by far the most atrocious experience of our lives.
