Kids Beach
A perfect place for low tide and high tide. Great for toddlers. Let the kids play on their floats. Close to the town center and shops. Ample parking. Get there early to get a good spot. Plenty of tiny fish to catch with nets for the kids.

The beach seems safe for the kids as the water is shallow... however the beach attracts all sorts of people from nearby and l also the nathrooms needs to be cleaned... l would think twice by visiting this beach..

After living and working in Port Alfred for 15 years l had the occasion of paying Kids Beach a visit. Well what a lovely surprise.Besides the kiddies related swings and things to keep them ammused, I saw the lovely sheldered beach over looking the children's bathing area. Wonderful for parents wanting to catch up on their tans while keeping a watchful eye on their little ones. The little one" in my care was a 91 year old Swiss lady who was equally impressed at the fascility Including the sharks head to pose for a photo."

Kids Beach is situated slightly inland in a lagoon. There is no waves and the water is very shallow so that you can walk with the water at just above knee level from one side to the other. This makes it brilliant for small children! The reason I only gave three stars is because of two things:1. The bathroom was absolutely horrible. It stank and was filthy and there is no place to change diapers.2. You have to keep a very close eye on your belongings. Always make sure that you have someone sitting directly by your belongings so that nothing gets lost""

This is the perfect spot to launch a stand up paddle board or a kayak, and enjoy the canals around the Port Alfred Marina. It’s also a perfect beach for toddlers as the water never gets too high (about knee high at full tide)

Clean, tidy, quiet and spacious beach. Most enjoyable during the low tide and when it is a lovely sunny day

Kids Beach
Best place to bring the little ones. The lagoon here fills up with only about a meter of water and is great fun for the kids to splash around in. You can rent some water craft nearby or just enjoy chilling on the white sand as the kids tire themselves out! It can be a bit empty at low tide, so come when the tide is a bit higher for a water fun day.
