Not happy at all with Mayfair in Shelby. They do not attend to your car urgently as requested.

I'm actually not sure about the quality because the person I took is not pleased as they are ridiculously expensive you would think being so expensive the job you do would prevent you from coming back . I don't think service centres realise how costly it is to come up with lump sums they are charging because it's your car and it was made apart you have no option but to except the repair charge just because you don't want to go up and down looking for cheaper repair centres.So in my opinion please don't overcharge people because you don't know their situation you might say it's got nothing to do with you , it's your business because you will have a customer for life if you treat them well .Thank you be considerate.

DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!!I took my car to Mayfair Gearbox Auto in Selby Johannesburg in October 2021.After waiting for more than a month the car came back and it was OK'ish for about 8 months. The car broke down with the same Mechatronic issue that was initially Fixed"I took the car back to Mayfair Gearbox Auto again and its been there for 7 weeks and going on the 8th week now. They claim to have replaced the Mechatronic twice already and the Clutch 2 times already and still they cannot get it right. If its not the Clutch its the Mechatronic

Brought my Hyundai i10 and received amazing service from bongi, feedback every day and car running smoothly, thanks to the whole team.

**Updated**Although the repairs took very long my car seems to be in good order now.Car was collected today in working order.I did notice my dashcam was unplugged though. Not a huge deal as the car is in the same condition as when it was left there.Thank you to Bongi & Dane who were the last people to assist me with the car.

Awful service - it took almost a week for the first quote which was exorbitant. Then we endured another two weeks of back and forth with Grant continuously promising to get back to us and having to be chased up. When he finally came back with something reasonable, we were about to give the go-ahead when he suddenly added on a ridiculous amount for labour.To put the cherry on top, when I picked up the box, they forgot" the most valuable bits and I had to make another trip to pick them up"

I received my car on 23 December 2022. The car is working but what I cannot get over is the fact that I brought my car with half tank of petrol but when I received my car the petrol tank was empty and the odometer shows that the car has traveled +300km. If this is your policy I think you should disclose this information to your customers on where the car was driven to. Please treat us with respect we are you customers.
