Fab chilled place amazing bespoke accommodation! Andrew the owner a lovely cool guy !

Needed a mosquito net around the bed but otherwise perfect

Wow wow wow!! We couldn't get enough of this place. So much so that we had to extend our stay and stay a night longer than planned.The hosts are incredible - hospitable, creative and caring people who are passionate about their little haven that they've created.We had all the amenities that we required, plus more- electric blankets were a great surprise and the cute little 'black out' box for when Eskom cuts off the power. (Do yourself a favour if you're there when there's loadshedding- go outside and look at the stars!!)Paternoster is a quaint town, known for its white houses and famous restaurants- well, none of the restaurants were open #lockdown, but there was still much to do.To me, Paternoster is now known for the peace & quiet, this great escape only a short drive from the city, long sunset beach walks and delicious breakfast and coffee at 'Mondvol' a restaurant within walking distance of Gelukkie.It was our Groot Geluk to find this place and spend our birthdays here.

What a brilliant wedding venue. This day venue is the perfect venue with a garden setting. As a marriage officer I marry people all over the Western Cape and this is one of those special places to marry couples.

Loved loved it...staff were on point..Owners were so friendly. Food was outstanding. Decor and ambience just so perfect. Well Done Team. The Wedding was perfect.

This is the third time we have spent an extended time at Gelukkie (twice at Nog n Gelukkie, and once at Klein Gelukkie) and again, we were not disappointed. Being slightly out of town one can truly relax away from the more cheek-by-jowl experience of Paternoster central. We also had the pleasure of spotting Grey Duiker, mongoose, tortoise, a spotted eagle owl and crows, from the patio.The cottage is well designed/crafted and comfortable, and the hosts as helpful and as hands on as you would want when on holiday. Highly recommended.

This place is absolutely amazing! Andrew and his Ruth are super hosts! No but like seriously they go out their way to make you feel at home!

Very relaxed venue for an intimate wedding setting. Andrew's food is outstanding and yet simple. Chocolate cake to die for! All associated services for the bride eg hairdresser, make-up, photographer were very efficient and so flexible and friendly. Well done. Many thanks.

Laid back awesome setting with Andrew and Ruth as the best hosts. Excellent food with big helpings!
