K.Carrim Builders & Tile Mecca - Atterbury

I felt welcomed and the people were very willing to help and very friendly.Their prices are reasonable and comparable to other stores.But when you go collect what you paid for, you get told the item is out of stock. I will NEVER shop at Carrim again!!! I am so disappointed!!!

Whatever you save on price you WILL pay for in time. this has been proven to me over and over and over again. I bought a solar geyser there just last week, and they supplied the incorrect bracket. After sending them photos they confirmed they made a mistake and asked me to come in to store to return & collect the correct one. I asked them to please get the correct bracket ready for me so that I can come and swap, but they refused to get this ready for me prior to my arrival, and made it clear that I had to come in, Bring the old bracket, they would inspect and ensure my receipt is in order, and after all this will they only fetch the correct bracket. This is the 5th example of how good they are at wasting their client's time I've personally had. I am forced to pay for their mistake with my time. If you have plenty of time on your hands this is the best place to go, they will make you wait and waste as much of your time as possible. Spent and hour there on Saturday to get a hand full of plumbing fittings, once again because of their mistakes, would much rather pay a bit more at Mica and spend an extra 45mins with my family on a Saturday morning...

Prices are low and very convenient

So red tape, trading hours say they close at 13:30 but 13:20 you are already rushed that they are closing. Why don't they tell the public the truth that they close at 13:20. Yesterday also, I went to buy something and they say they close at 17:00 but at 16:57 the cashier already closed the till and they can't reopen the till because that's how their system is. They just say come tomorrow not even asking the urgency I have.They mislead the public with their trading hours period!

Good and efficient service

I've spent over 1.3 million rand on building materials from Carrim, the one located on Atterbury road Menlyn. I have never had an issue with the items I've been purchasing and all this changed after I bought 20+ floodlights and the ones that had sensors was messed up on the sensor part and these guys after all the amount I had spent refused to change them. Adriaan the store manager, the white guy with the glasses was very rude and treated me like a customer that did not spend over a million rand on materials. I have always had the best services with the rest of the stuff like Moses and Daniel. The service I received from the manager was disgusting and disappointing I don't know if it is my race colour but I am never going back there for my building projects. If you are reading this do yourself a favour and go purchase your items from builders warehouse down the road cause the quality of items from Carrim are really not worth it. Adriaan is a bad manager that does not understand customer service and under estimates people. If you buying something from them buy things in the building yard but not inside the shop the quality of things is not to standard. I will never return to that shop rather I go to Chamberlain or Builders Warehouse and I advise you do the same. rather pay more for good quality products than deal with a bad service and low quality products.

K.Carrim has a lovely variety of modern tiles and sanitary, and best of all, affordable.Sure you could buy more premium product at places like Lifetyle but of course at 3 times the price.Service is also really good.Well worth the visit.Why only 3 stars ?Well, there was an employee there not wearing his mask, which I don't approve of.

Bought a JoJo tank from them, wasn't in a good condition (Previously used or fell of the back of a truck). Said they didn't have any stock so they are going to talk to supplier for exchange. 3 Days later I decided to return it, and there were 3 of the same JoJo tanks still standing there, like on the day I bought mine. 1 Star because one of the managers said they they are sorry. Will not buy there again.

Your reviews are bad and you are expensive. You ask for 2 hose clamps R 25 something. I just bought the same clamps and payed R 22.90 for 4 clamps at Chamberlains. So you won't ever see me again.
