Ebony Lodge Mthatha
Ebony lodge is gorgeous, the gardens are beautifully maintained and offer lovely views from the windows. The rooms are spacious, neat and well equipped. The staff are kind and attentive; we were welcomed and well looked after. The food at the restaurant is delicious. I can highly recommend the pizza.

Everything you need in an overnight stay: Restaurant on site, swimming pool to relax at the end of the day, good sized rooms with table space to work when required, clean bathrooms and comfortable beds. It is the only place we use in Mthatha.

First night here and I already can't wait to check out. The place has no charging ports, I practically have no phone till tomorrow morning when I charge in the car, this will be my life for the next five days. The shower is the worst.

So I was in Umtata for a few days and was told to come here for convenience and yes it was most definitely convenient for where I needed to be. As for the ladies at the front desk Rona and Jana, they were most amazing and kind and very helpful. The place itself was very relaxing More so bcos I had a room at the pool side with a perfectly manicured garden behind. And when u come out early in the morning whilst everyone is asleep, this garden attracts the most beautiful birds and all u hear in the silent morning is the music of chirping birds. Thank you guys for an awesome stay and great hospitality. Well done!!

Conveniently situated. Easy access to N2 and surrounds. Safe parking. Room was very plain. No hot water.Restaurant was good with great atmosphere at the time. Food was good.

Great place to stay on the road to Cape Town. Food was incredible at the Ivory and the rooms were clean and very nice
