Shoprite Plettenberg Bay

Always a pleasure shopping at Shoprite on a Monday morning,nice and quiet and no queues at the till.Lots of parking under roof available.

Can be quite uncleanly and rather manic in season. Not a great shopping experience overall but will do in a pinch. Generally you can find what you need elsewhere nearby.

Very clean store with other useful shops around for a one stop shop.they had everything we needed for a week long holiday.decent butchery section with loads of options.

Always helpful and convenient. Friendly staff. Good secure parking

I can't give the store more than one stars there's so much they need to improve in all Shoprite and checkers stores in garden route especially in their front shop area your front shop is so poor starting from your cashiers they don't even recognise ,not interested and they don't pay attention to customers coming to your assistants at the store when enquiry about a certain products a customer is looking for , instead of assisting a customer they will point there on that side "please improve your customer service is poor I'm saying this not because I'm against you it's because your stores are more supported by Africans and when a business is supported by Africans the stores are always not been runned properly I'm not trying to be arrogant or be racist I'm just concerned about the business as whole I want your business to stand on five stars one day"

I can accept that a Supermarket will be busy on a Saturday morning between 10-11.But if you have to wait 15 minutes at a so-called Express Till to pay for 5 items, there are more problems than just being busy, especially if there is only four clients in the queue in front of you.There is a surplus of staff walking up and down the isles, entering and exiting offices, who would presumably be management and who have definately mastered the skill of looking straight through customers and ignoring pain points. I eventually gave up waiting and handed the items to a staff member to return it to the shelves.You will not see my business again.I would much rather walk right past you and support the SuperSpar.

Plettenberg Bay has this Shoprite (The Square) which is located in the centre of the commercial district.Usually, one would find the Checkers sister brand in environments such as this, but the Shoprite more than holds its own, considering there’s a Spar just a few steps down the road.This store offers free covered parking and its location in The Square does help generate traffic into the store.There’s a well-stocked fresh fruit section and the hot food deli serves good quality food.The store is much bigger than the entrance would suggest and it was good to see that there were enough cashiers on duty so that there were no long queues at checkout.

Cheapest supermarket I saw in town. many discounts.
