The San Hair Parklands

Worst experience ever. I normally get my wigs done at the San hair in Woodstock but because it is a bit far I decided to try the Parklands branch, worst decision ever! Firstly they sold me a t-part wig under the impression that it was a full frontal. When I asked if it was a full frontal they said yes only to find out when they were installing it that it actually wasn’t a full frontal. Secondly the lady who did my lines made them so tight my head was throbbing afterwards, however I braced through it thinking it will be worth it after they install my wig. The install took so long and the lady kept on adding more glue because the wig wouldn’t stay in place at the edges. After a long time of styling it she finally asked me to check the work, I looked up into the mirror and was shocked.. the middle part was on the side and not straight, the baby hairs didn’t look neat. I asked her to fix it even showed her a picture of what I wanted it to look like and she started complaining that she couldn’t do that with my wig. Her attitude completely changed after I showed dissatisfaction with her work and her and her manager suddenly became rude. All in all it was a waste of money and a waste of my wig. I only wore it for two days and removed it because the wig started peeling off. Don’t go here if you don’t want to waste your money, rather go to Woodstock branch they are good.

I am extremely happy with the service that I have received from this branch of San Hair. The ladies were super helpful in helping me choose my first wig and teaching me how to take care of it. The wig quality and installation thereof was also superb! I had a minor issue with the wig a couple of weeks after buying it (because of my own ignorance) and the ladies took care of the issue for me FOR FREE! They were also super friendly while doing it. The customer service at this branch is definitely at a high level.

Am really not happy with the service l got from Mabel from Parklands branch she was really rude she washed my curly wig ..and it looked so rough and dry l actually want refund for my money...and for installation l went to Woodstock they were really good and friendly. Parklands branch service is very very terrible!!!

If they was zero I would rate then zero. Horrible service, they undermine clients, made an appointment for 9am when I got there my wig was not pre plucked. They said it would take an hour and they even suggested that I go and come back after an hour. They didn't even want me pay because they knew they didn't want to sell the hair to me. Called after an hr I was told they haven't started and they will call me back. They never did. You guys are not professional.

They have experience transphobia towards a customer and misgendered themy.

They have amazing hair quality and the service is great. I’ve been there a few times and they haven’t disappointed me. Would definitely recommend

Incredibly rude ! I had the worst service twice , the first time Mable was to install my wig , it was load shedding so I went home and she said she’ll call me back to get my wig installed, after two hours I decided to go back , she had already started installing another ladies wig who just got in store and was soo rude to me I ended up not installing that day.The second time , I went there to wash my wig , the other hairdresser told me she can’t wash/ treat a wig that has glue on the lace and I need to go home with it , wash the glue then she’ll wash my wig , I was confused because the point of washing a wig is also to wash the glue off , mind you this is not the San hair policy ! Anyway we ended up going back and forth with this lady , after a long winded argument, I ended up washing my wig at the elegance salon in town where the service is way better and the hairstylists are friendly

They don’t deserve a star. Very unprofessional

Great hair quality, Mabel and her esteemed colleagues are very friendly and go out of their way to help HOWEVER, the ladies do need some formal customer service training on 1 or 2 things as store is operated like a Spaza shop and not like an actual business. Other than that, i'll definately be a regular here.

Very poor service delivery. I had a closure cut for a fringe, ignoring what I said about the length, it was cut way too short, a piece of my already installed weave was taken out, added to the fringe, 4 days later the track was showing. I was with the end result, when I left the salon but only for those few hours, rest of the week was a nightmare. Over promised and under delelived, the lady that does the installation not to friendly only became a bit (small bit) friendly when the manager was around.
