L'Ermitage Quagga Lodge

What a lovely place for a getaway. Beautiful houses, comfortable, spacious. Everything you need! Stunning area on the river. Wonderful bird life and wildlife all around. Quiet and peaceful, surrounded by nature. The hosts were friendly and professional with excellent communication and assistance, from pre arrival to post departure. Thank you, we will be back soon!

From the moment you step in you are welcomed by a stunning scent, followed by the beauty of a modern, clean and well laid out chalet and then you see the breathtaking views!!If that's not enough the hosts are super friendly, helpful and such a pleasure to chat with. We met Johan on the game drive which was extremely informative and interesting. You definitely get to see animals and you can feel the passion Johann has for these animals. He enlightened us with his experiences on the farm which taught us a lot about the animals and what happens behind the scenes.Linda kept us updated via WhatsApp even before we arrived. She welcomed us with a smile and ensured a painless check in process.Your unit is equipped with the best appliances, amenities with convenience of large bedrooms and bathrooms. Beds were comfy! What's not to love!

The Quagga Lodge is a wonderful place for people that are looking for a comfortable, modern and quite place to stay. Its in close vicinity to the West Coast Fossil Park and West Coast National Park. A nice addition for families with kids would be a jungle gym and/or pool. But without I will still come back. The friendly hosts made my day.

Clean, well maintained, high quality furnishings and fittings. Clean quality bedding and towels. Awesome showers. The chalets are situated right on the Berg River. Real 5 star chalets. Beautiful sunsets. The host's was awesome and very helpful, and sorted out any issues very fast. Will definitely stay again in the future.

We will be back again!.bedrooms are amazing, comfy bed and you wake up rejuvenated! If you need rest this is the place to be, quiet and birds singing in the morning. The inside braai is perfect for the winter nights. Hosts, are wonderful friendly people.

I have to admit I was not their easiest guest, but the service I got was exceptional. They looked after our every need, fantastic service and I will definitely book to stay there again. This time for longer. The setting is amazing and the styling is superb. I loved it

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this Lodge. The scenary is truly beautiful and the sunset was magical. The aesthetics of the lodge are very modern and homey. The only reason this isn't a 5 is because the room with the balcony in chalet 5, the shower didn't heat up.

Absolutely enjoyed our time at the l’ ermitage quagga lodge . We stayed in a two bedroom and two bathroom villa. The house was very clean and had modern finishes . The views were breathtaking and watching the sun set was magical . Loved the idea of an indoor braai . The house is very spacious . Only complaint is the that the one shower had issues with the hot water due to the pipes so all the guest had to make use of the other shower . Was great visiting during flower season ,Would definitely like to visit again in the summer .
