Its very nice and service is a 10 out of 10. Nothing gets you closer to nature than Emahlathini guest farm.

R750 for dinner which was instant veggies and dry food. Food was late, dry. Eggs served for a vegan!!! Broken toilet, plugs didn't work, broken shower door, no toilet paper, spiderweb, dirty dustbin, dirty dishes of previous visitor. Awful road is not mentioned on advert. Not suitable for all cars. Owner is not professional

After seeing all these terrible reviews i had my doubts about going here but I'm happy i still did. It's a beautiful location which is, given you take the right road, reachable by any car. Yes the accommodation could use an upgrade but covid hit hospitality hard especially if your main income is based on tourists from overseas. I had comfortable bed with clean sheets, a very nice warm shower and a lovely breakfast on the deck at the pond.

Quaint place. Kind hospitality. Just the mosquitoes didn't give us peace all night. The dreadful road getting there will deter me from returning - that's hardly the owners fault as the state needs to look after the roads.

Lovely environment. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfy. The rooms were tidy and the owners and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Everything was well decorated. My favorite thing about this place was the deck with tables over the water with the beautiful view of the Swaziland mountains. We had a lovely breakfast there and battled to leave! It was overall an excellent price for an excellent accommodation. The reason this did not receive 5 stars is that unfortunately the animal enclosures were far too small. The place was also quite hard to access as it required traveling along long uneven dirt roads. Signal is also not great, but it was perfect for us as we were able to escape the hussle and bustle of everyday life completely.

The state of the accommodation was appalling! Unkempt grounds.The rooms we booked were given to someone else we found out on arrival.This is the elephant family room, lights falling out of the ceiling, broken windows and blinds, most blinds either don’t open or close. Broken tap and both bathroom and kitchen taps drip non stop. Broken and rusted fittings in a very mouldy shower.The paint from the floor peels off an sticks to your feet as you walk. Floors filthy, spiders and bugs.The bedding was stained and dirty and the room smelt strongly like urine. Toilet also not flushed after the previous guests!Candles supplied with no holders, coffee and tea supplied but no kettle. Towels looked like old rags.

What a disappointment. Looks nothing like the pictures advertised. Firstly you need a 4x4 because of the bad road. No elictricity but also no gas bottle for gas stove. Was told the next morning to fetch a gas bottle ourselves at another unit. No privacy in bathroom as advertised in a family room. also no wifi as advertised. would not recommend this place at all.

Awesome place if you are all about the bushes, very isolated and in between SA and Swaziland

Once long ago, must have been a beautiful property, but sadly over time, general standards of property etc have not been upkept.Unless u areABSOLUTELY & DESPERATLEY prepared to rough it"
