Submitted fridge asked for regas. Charged R200 inspection fee. Instruction was urgent and would collect the following morning. Phone Number was taken and promised a quote. No quote received. Collected fridge the following morning by 11:00. Reception stated no work done and employee not in. She phones boss who confirms neglecting quote but says it needs regas and gives price. As no work was done, no quote sent as promised I insisted that my R200 be returned. The Boss, Peter Nel refuses to reimburse monies. Down right robbery. Would not recommend business be done with either the business or Peter Nel

Worst company I have dealt with in East London ever! Requested a quote from them last year and some questions with regards to the warranty etc. Was told on email that they don't have time to reply on my questions because they are too busy to do that and that I should come in and sort it out with the owner self. That lady was so rude to me. I was under the impression that I would buy a new fridge from them. Once the fridge arrived, it was a second hand product and not even the same brand that we paid for. After numerous emails to Betinna and Peter the owner, I am still waiting for feedback. They do not even bother to respond to me after I gave them enough time to do so. Up until today, I am still sitting with the incorrect fridge and NO response on my emails. Do not use them ever!

VERY HELPFULL AND FIENDLY PEOPLE

These people wanted to charge me R520 to unblock a drain that I did myself in 5 minutes. Even there own repair man looked embarrasses when her heard the price.

I'm not sure if it's the same shop but we went to the wood shop right next to it. Excellent service, we were assisted as we stepped into the shop, we got prices and we saw some of the woodwork.

It has closed down. There is a new hardware store there now and they were so helpful.

Was extremely impressed by the service and quick response. Definitely worth the price and would recommend this company.

I can certainly highly recommend EL Appliances. Peter and his staff are very efficient, friendly and on time. I would certainly never use anyone else to repair my appliances.
