Italtile Somerset West

I had a really bad experience in Somerset West. The conduct of the sales people and even the manager left a lot to be desired. All in all it was unprofessional and it is sad that a company with such great products can get it so wrong.

We received expert, friendly service from Jade at Italtile Somerset West, which included a complimentary tray of coffees for the whole family!Their well designed showroom with a wide range of tiles, taps and bathroom fittings is a great place to walk around for inspiration.Many would argue that their prices are too high. You pay for what you get though, quality and experience is worth it.If you need tiles and bathroom fittings for your make over it is a great place to start.

Excellent service from Douglas Clark. He really went out of his way to help us, even assisting with installation on his off day. People like him are hard to come by. Well deserved 5 stars.

We had dealings with Douglas Clark at Somerset West Italtile today, what an amazing man. He welcomed us, walked us through all the products available, assisted with advice without being pushy, but stayed professional all the time. In future we will drive through from Hermanus to Somerset , just to deal with Douglas for anything we need whilst renovating our house. Keep up the good work Douglas! Just a compliment to the Manager as well.... we called in to compliment Douglas and left a message for a manager to call us, not saying that it is a compliment. Not even 10 minutes later a manager called 'Mo' called back. In these days where you are lucky to have someone actually calling you back we were so surprised that we were called back so soon. Italtile Somerset West you will definitely see us again.

We bought a toilet and the seat ws too small. We were repeatedly told that that was the seat that came with the toilet. The sales staff aren't trained to deal with queries or solve them. We went back about 5 times asking for help and advise and ended up having to buy another seat from CP&B plumbing in somerset west. Really bad back up service Italtile!!!

Above and beyond their quality products it is the consistently great service I recieve from Roelien and dispatch staff that has pushed me towards taking time out of my day to write this review. First class customer service as well as being knowledgeable on the practicality of a variety of projects while still having a keen eye for aesthetical details really sets the experience of planning your next project apart from other stores.

Bought a double vanity from Italtile. Cost R16k, excluding accessories. Vanity was delivered, we had a plumber come out to install and connect. The drawers are skew and not aligned properly. Not the fault of the plumber, but from how it was assembled. We called and asked them to please fix it. We were basically told they would send us an instructional video on how to realign and attach the drawers ourselves, and fix it ourselves. Incredibly disappointed and disgusted to say the least. We will NEVER purchase anything from them ever again. Disgusting after sales service. This is not what I expect after spending so much money. You guys absolutely suck!

The best ever service received from Heidi Lombard.We drive from Bellville to Somerset West because of their overall great service and fantastic quality.

Be warned! I was looking for a mosaic tile to compliment a wall tile I had chosen. The assistant went to get me the wall tile so I could put it next to the mosaics I was choosing. When she brought it, it was a completely different colour! Although the bar code was the same as the one on display. She then told me that the stock was new and she was sorry that it was so different to the one I wanted. They should check stock and NOT display tiles they have no stock in. Furthermore, the basin I wanted was incorrectly labeled. The assistant admitted it was incorrect and then removed it. The staff are kind, but the showroom needs greater accuracy in labeling and display of unavailable stock. An entire morning was wasted!
