Nice place to be n delicious food

The Lodge itself is beautiful but the rooms adjacent to the gate and parking lot are at risk of high noise levels, hence it creates a restless night for you as a guest inside the room, guests should be told to reduce noise levels when checking in.

Stayed 28-30 OctoberGetting there was easy. It's a remote place which is very nice but you need a car to get there.There is a generator which is nice because Friday when we arrived there was loadshedding.The place was clean but I could see a few areas of improvement.Saturday 29 October there was no hot water. I raised it and was told to let it run and we did for over 20mins (waste of water). Ended up using the basin as I had other commitments to get to.After an hour they checked and we said it is still cold. The lady came to check herself. Like why would I lie.She then said something was off and they just turned it on.The breakfast on Saturday was so good. Compliments to the chef. As well as the service received from staff.They cleaned the room while I was out.Which is nice.Sunday was really a mess. There was no water. That time we need to travel back to Johannesburg. Issue wasn't solved and checkout was at 10.The breakfast was horrible. We got burnt eggs and less portions. Like I think the chef was a different one to Saturdays one. The staff was also very slow on Sunday.Overall the place is safe. But wish I could get a refund because of the water situation.

I was quick to judge this place, but was humbled humbled. It is clean, the food is amazing. The only annoying thing is loadshedding, but the accomodation has a generator. Highly recommend it.

I was staying there for 5 days, the rooms and dinner were fine but the need to improve their breakfast. I had to complain on my third day of staying because I was eating same thing.
