They are very quick to send someone out to have a look for the purposes of quoting but good luck making progress from there. I've tried them twice for two different jobs and both times there was radio silence after their inspection. After I kept reminding them on the first job, they eventually sent a generic quote that made no sense based on my requirements as stated in the inspection. For the 2nd job, they just haven't responded at all and they don't pick up the phone.

If I could give this company a (minus) -5 stars I would.I went according to the Google reviews when I made the decision to make use of Bornman electrical as we wanted the best in the industry, our experience was the exact opposite!On 15 March 2022 I reached out to Bornman Electrical requesting a call out for a full electrical assessment in the house. Some plugs and switches don't work so needed all checked and sorted out along with a COC when everything was in order.The receptionist arranged the call out for 17 March, with no problems as of yet.The team came out on 17 March made notes, did an assessment, and said the office will draw up the quote and send it to me and then we can schedule a day to carry out the work should we accept the quote.I sent out a follow-up mail to the lady (reception) that booked the call out on the 18th, 23rd and 24th of march without any responses.On the 24th of March I called, I was shocked when the receptionist answered the phone with just a ''Hello'', when I asked which company it is she said Bornman electrical. She did not introduce herself or the company when answering the phone.I proceeded to ask when we will be receiving our quotation as I'm not receiving any responses to my emails, she said she will follow up and call me back before she could hang up I asked her if she has my number to call me back, she then responded with you can give me your number (so she was not planning on following up as she did not even ask me for my details or about the job that I was referring to). I gave her my number anyway and did not receive a callback.I called the offices again and the same lady answered with ''hello'' I asked her if I could speak to the owner or director and she said they were busy but gave me Director Phillip's number whom I immediately tried to call but there was no answer. I then proceeded to send him a mail, also informing him of the receptionist that is lacking massive telephone etiquette.The director also could not give me proper feedback as to what the delay is with the quote, why we have to beg for feedback and he also did not even mention anything on the complaints I left with regard to the receptionist and us waiting for almost 2weeks for a quote on a full electrical assessment as well as fixing of switches that were requested via email when booking the assessment.I kept on sending follow-up emails to the director and he finally came back with a response of Unfortunately we will not be able to help.I would NEVER in my life recommend this company to ANYONE!It's BY FAR THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED IN MY LIFE.

Bornman Electrical arrived exactly on time, exceptionally neat and well presented. They installed a socket in the most expedient and clean manner. Highly recommended and will definitely call on their services again.

Disappointed by the total lack of care by owners after I alerted them to their driver throwing his litter out the company's vehicle window. Not one call from them, not even after I contacted their office to complaon, and was told they are aware of my previous post. A company that stands indifferent to unashamedly littering our City shouldn't be supported.
