Cell C Cavendish Square

I have been a Cell C customer for over 20 years but the after sales service was terrible at Cavendish. I was promised a free silicone cover when I upgraded, but when I returned to do the cover, all the staff had amnesia about this and they called the Manager and he said NO. They made me feel like a liar and this was humiliating so I left. They have lost a loyal customer!! They kept telling me of their policy and rules and they did not promise that....I have a witness who heard what they promised....but it's all good as I am done with them.

Do not bother to go there. Staff is arrogant and incompetent.I needed urgently a SIM card with some data. Thought I'll try this provider. Never used Cell C before. What a disappointment!The staff refused to sell me the SIM because I produced my drivers licence for identification and not the ID book. The argument that the drivers licence is a legal identification document in South Africa was ignored. There were three ladies and one man of staff in the store, all apparently legal experts". No wonder there were no customers. The place is probably avoided and for good reason. I went round the corner to Telkom and got my SIM without any problem.Cell C is in financial troubles therefore I cannot understand how they can afford employing staff who scare off customers. I think the Cell C Cavendish personnel should be first in line for retrenchment if cost cutting becomes necessary. One could appoint one or two more competent people for the price of these four and still do better in terms of customer service. I advise to use

I needed urgently a SIM swop. I gave copy of my id. But she want to see 4 and 5 page of my id. Of my original id. And refuse to accept my drivers license. Dont bother your self to visit them. Staff is rude, irrogant and very unprofessional. And around the corner telkom they help me in few seconds. I perfer to xhange my network to cell to telkom. At least telkom staff knows how to help the customers. I m very much disappointed with cell staff in Cavendish. Its not the first time. I m working in Claremont so that's why went there. But never visit cell Cavendish again bcoz its waste of time.

My number was deregistered for no reason and when going out of my way to go to the store they were offline" and did nothing to resolve the issue"

1 star for the manager, he was rude and dismissive, couldn't bother to look up from his phone when talking to him. The employee helping me was very friendly and tried his best to sort my issue out, 5 stars to him.

I recently upgraded my hand set an found within the 7days a flaw in the design,contacted the sales consultant Anastacia Thorne, and she sent device away an it was rejected! She then brought the issue to the rep an that same week organized the replacement, i truly appreciate how effectively an efficiently she sorted out the problem, thank you for ur excellent service!

Really poor service at cavendish cell c. I was greeted by a big sigh upon entering the store as I clearly interrupted staff locked into their phone screens, earphones in and watching videos.I inquired about a transfer of ownership and was told that I should go online and check what is needed. When asking how to go about it online, the answer was ‘I don’t know’. Simple questions could not be answered. How can this be attended to if the customer service call line says to go in store and then they can’t do anything in store?

In a nutshell, the staff have no idea what they are talking about or doing and have now cost me from having my phone repaired/replaced in warranty. Phone was booked in on the 30th April, warranty expired on the 10th May, however due to their incompetence, the repair assessment was delayed so badly that the phone is now out of warranty and I am now expected to pay R10k to replace my phone. If I dont, I still need to pay for a contract without a phone!!!! Disgusted with the service received from the store as well as Cell C repairs!!

Extremely poor service. Consultant was lounging across counter and she was on her cell phone while serving" me. I went to the Waterfront store after this and their service was a 100 times better. I would avoid using this store if I can at all!"

Sales consultant signed me up for the wrong contract amount. Been paying for a higher debit order amount since November last year - been in to the store countless times to sign forms, speak to the manager at the time, do a sim swap and was told it would be sorted out for the month of June. I was told they can't refund me but the extra cash that I've paid would be credited towards my current contract for the month of June and July .The same incorrect debit order has just gone off for the 7th month in a row (June)Do NOT take out a contract with cell c, just go to Vodacom.
