Waits 72 hours to share results. Yet other labs share results immediately

Took my mother here (from Chatsworth) for an FBC last Saturday the 2/1/21 instead of Ampath as requested by her Doctor. Pathcare said they will email the doctor the results and not the patient. It is now the 7/1/21 my mother has called pathcare twice this week, as the doctor's office says they haven't received her blood results, Pathcare says they will resend it to the doctor. My mother also requested a copy to be sent to her private email so she may print and take it to the doctor herself as it was to diagnose a problem. She was told by pathcare that she needs to come in with her ID to collect the results at the branch, and they will not email it to her. She is unwell and cannot travel just to fetch a blood report.If I can access my lab result history on the Ampath website, Pathcare should atleast be able to email patients the results, it should safer with the pandemic going on, instead of asking sick people to come into the offices unnecessarily.Poor service, first time using Pathcare, unimpressed

Pathcare take looking after their patients seriously, if you have a concern you can take it up with their team and they will help you as much as they can.

Very professional and very fast with the results. They promised the same day, we collected them the same day. Very friendly stuff. I would come again if needed.

Not impressed at all. People who have been tested at other labs received their results in a matter of hours (I have also received in a few hours previously at other labs) but I am still waiting for Pathcare after 2 days. With no online facility to check results, I have to keep calling to check since the SMS is usually delayed. When I called the Ballito branch I was told that I must just be patient.
