Good place for kids and the family in general. Fishing is good. I think lighting should be improved though on the beaches during the night. The toilets and upkeep of the place has improved a lot from the last time I visited.

Beautiful beach, clean and the pool doesn't close but its shallow. They have a nice braai area where one can set up a gazebo and enjoy with the family. People also seem to be fishing at night too.

Near my home excellent clean beach . Not crowded safe and kid friendly with a kiddies pool. Best for braais.

The most calmest beach, I still feel it's a hidden gem. it's on the South coast of Durban and if you are lucky you can spot whales and dolphins. there are beautiful shells as well if you like collecting shells. the rock pool is majestic and refreshing. a must try and see when in Durban

After lock down the beach needs a good clean up. Couldn't believe the amount of litter on the beach. The pools were green.
